Iron shaft for higher launch

I have a very low ball flight and steep swing. I'm looking at getting new shafts that can help me get the ball up a little more. Any recommendations? I've looked at the TT Elevate and just seeing what else is out there.

I'm a big fan of KBS shafts.

The Tour 90 or MAX might be worth looking at.

For my swing speed, the Titleist/Nippon 105T does a good job. I started playing it in S, now play it in R. There was a local pro who was playing it in X.

In one set s300 and the other is dynamic gold

I'd check out a lighter steel shaft. I love the Nippon 120s but you could go even softer/lighter with 105s or the 950s.

So with the lighter shaft I should get a higher launch?

All other things equal, a lighter shaft will launch higher than a heavier shaft. You often get some shaft information along with ads for a particular model of golf club.

When OEMs market a set of clubs, they include a spec (specifications) sheet. This gives data on the clubheads, and often on the shafts. Below is the spec sheet for the Callaway Rogue irons.

The two stock shafts are the XP95 (lighter steel) and the Synergy 60 graphite (lighter weight). The lower table on the shafts shows the weight, torque (how much the shaft twists), and the kickpoint. (Kickpoint is tricky: The lower toward the head a shaft bends, the higher it launches the ball).

Use it to get your MPF shaft code, and use it to narrow down the models of shafts you consider. Of course, you would want to test out the shaft in the type of clubhead you want to use it in, before you buy.
