Just popped by to see how much lead tape would be present, still an absolute tonne which is nice to see.

 

Interesting to see how new that TS2 looks. Given that they have been out there since June and we have just had the sort of off season, you would think that a lot of testing would have been getting done in that spell but the TS2 looks like it is almost just out of the wrapper.

Does not believe in tip weights ��

 

Is there any real difference in using a tip weight vs. lead tape on the head in terms of swingweight/shaft characteristics?

Likely not. I’m not trained though.

My guess is that with tip weights It becomes difficult for the user to end up with a club that “feels “ right meaning he might want just a little bit more

 

So he just builds without and adds less tape until he’s comfortable and content with the weight off the club

 

This is just my guess and I’m in no way a build expert
