I bought it for the first time ever, and it has not worked a single second yet today- very disappointed. Last week it was flawless though, so there's that...

 

Working great for me today. No problems. You must have some sort of odd issue going on.

 

Not long after I typed this it began working, and was flawless the rest of the day. I was very happy with the coverage. It is definitely worth the $49 I spent if that is my only hiccup...

They are under "Highlights". That said, the Highlights section is available on the Roku, but isn't on the Android app. The only way I found on the Android app you can view them tight now is if it shows up on the Featured section

I was working around it casting over my wifi but it was a hassle.

 

I have a few weeks of last year's subscription left so I'm not sure if I will re-subscribe.

 

I've actually lost interest in the PGA Tour due to lack of access to coverage. Never know if it's on TGC, PGA Tour Live, or maybe a network. Seems you have to have the full cable tv package to get a lot of TGC coverage and it's not worth an extra 100 bucks a month. What ever happened to the advertisers paying for the broadcast?

I’m not exactly thrilled with the change. The experience using the nbc gold app is terrible. Where are the leaderboard overlays from pga tour live? Or any leaderboard for the matter. Also seems like more ads than previous years. More live coverage is nice, but don’t butcher the experience by removing features and forcing nbc crap.

PGATourLive, was great for me last year.. I was able to stream the rounds in my office to my Ipad and I would simply walk around to my meetings with my tablet.. lol

I was looking forward to signing up again this year until NBCSportsGold, decided they didn't want to allow coverage in Canada.. WTFH? Who takes over a service and wants to make less $? this must be some new millenial thinking...

Anyway, I am skipping it.. Oddly enough golf channel in Canada, seems to be picking up the slack and showing live rounds prior to the advertised programs start time.

Technically the old PGA Tour Live died I think. Apple informed me that I was getting a pro-rated refund due to the changes with NBC Gold. They gave me like $8 back, lol

I just downloaded NBC Gold to our Roku, and it’s working just fine. The ability to stream on my tv from home just made the price worth it.

Me too. I signed up on the $49 special two weeks ago and I just got about $8 bucks back from Apple store for the prorated cancellation of PGA tour lIve that should have run though next month for me.

I signed up for a month this way yesterday. The service works really good, but my concern is this: can i not select who i watch? I only have the options to watch feature groups or feature holes. I watched a few hours over the weekend and saw exactly zero shots from anyone who actually had a chance to win. How do i watch the leaders? Or do i not.

I had PGA Live two years ago before the NBC requirement. Was only $35 and totally worth it. Watched it at work during slow times and when a pro I liked had a tee time prior to the broadcast. $65 is a little steep for what it was back then but if you get other things from NBC then maybe.

Have had it for 2 years now and its been great. No complaints.

 

We dont have the GC at home since we use SlingTV and not a cable provider. We 'cut the cord' so PGA Live is awesome for us.

 

It's even better this year because the app works on our fire TV where as before we couldnt watch it on TV! Now it's great!

PGA Tour Live is a supplement to the regular broadcast coverage. You get coverage of a few featured groups before and during the regular broadcast coverage.

 

You still need the Golf Channel for Thurs/Fri broadcast coverage. Saturday/Sunday is usually on CBS or NBC. Pretty much anywhere in the United States gets those channels for free with an antenna and are included with even the cheapest cable/satellite packages. They also allow you to stream the broadcast coverage online for free using their apps.

Same for me. I had it a couple years ago but cancelled. I have YoutubeTV so, I don't feel the need for anything else. I can watch Golf Channel virtually anywhere at virtually any time.

Yes it is worth it. I signed up for the Amazon Prime video option. You can go back and watch every day of a tournament too.

It’s nice to just have 8 hours of golf on each day when I don’t even have cable.

So not worth it for me because I can already watch all 4 rounds of PGA events as well as some of the other tours (more than I could ever watch). Could watch on my phone if I wanted to but I work from home so don't have to be sneaky about it.

This is what pisses me off, I bought a 2nd Apple TV last year and dumped Roku just for PGA Tour Live

 

We don't get the NBC/CBS Simulcast anymore
