My maltby ptm-4 has been the best putter I've ever owned. Think the grip has alot to do with it to. Haven't had one this exact shape before.

I keep trying other putters but this one ends up back in the bag.

I have an off brand half mallet putter with a milled aluminum insert and I have never in my 25 years of golfing life putted so well. I now actually look forward to putting. It makes a nice soft click too.

Machine M2A Converter Center over neck 1018 carbon steel, damascus rear insert, and torched lightly.  Love the face as its just true, feels like butter, and very consistent.  Best putter I have owned in my life.

Have been liking my toulon atlanta a lot since I got it. Did just earlier see some OG white hot putters only in Japan now and if those come to the US will at least try one. Played the original white hot #3 for like 15 years starting on the middle school team. Never got along with any of the newer white hot inserts.

I love my Odyssey Metal X Milled Versa #9Ht...but another is one Lamont built for me a few years back...Ma/66 with copper insert.

2012 Scotty Cameron Select Newport (Black). When I bought it in 2018 I did a lot of research into Scotty Camerons and found the 2012 select line had a big cult following, obviously the insert years were terrible. I've tried Ping, Toulon, Odyssey Protype, Bettinardi and nothing beats it. At the end of the day though everyone will be slightly different in their preference for feel and looks, just need to try them all. 

 

On my list to try still are Artisan and Mizuno, maybe a Brandon Matthew/Cody James/other custom makers.

My Slighter Tacoma FPR (1-100); pure carbon steel bliss. The milling is simple and straight forward but the feel & sound at impact are as good as I've ever played. Plus, it rolls the little white ball pure...

The milling is not as deep as newer ones, so it doesn't give u a false sense of softness, especially on missed hits. You can clearly differentiate between a hit and a miss. 

That might be a reason why TW doesn't use milled face.

I bought a Mizuno M-Craft I back in the spring, and it has stayed in the bag ever since.  Even as an avowed putter tinkerer, I have no plans to change anytime soon.

I love the M-Craft 1, recently got a Piretti 303SS Cortino 2 but it can't knock the Mizuno out of the bag.
