I’m in Canada, so the price, as someone mentioned, is about $2,500 for a 4-PW set.

I’ll be waiting for a used set to pop up. Once I can get a close to mint set for about $1,000 Canadian, I’m sure I’ll pull the trigger. There’s no better time to buy blades than when baby number 4 is on the way. Ball striking is peak when you have 4 kids under 9 at home, right?

Good lord. Somebody needs to smuggle you a set over and save you a grand. Canadian bacon futures must be on the skids if inflation is that high up there.

Pretty ambitious for a mint 1k set anytime soon. Ping retains value pretty well in Canada. You’ve posted way too much in here and clearly want them to wait for liquidation quality pricing lol.

Get em now while the irons hot off the press

You’re not wrong, but my tendency to be extremely cheap outweighs my impulse control. My wife bought me AirPods for my birthday and I haven’t even opened them because that, to me, feels extravagant (I’ve wanted them since they were released; she’s had a pair since release and I’ve confirmed many times that I’d like them).

In summary, I have problems.

I got the anser irons years ago and they too were higher priced. Believe it was because they normally don't forge irons and it was more costly for them to do. Anyway, I ended up knowing someone that was a ping rep at a golf shop and he ordered them for me at same cost he gets them which made them normal priced. Anyway, from my experience with those, 8620 forging is a different animal, not really in a bad way, just something you have to get use to.

Goodness man. Open the AirPods. Today. Please. My wife uses them and says they are the best thing ever. I don’t have any. But I don’t use ear buds any. If I did I’d go buy a pair.

Take it from a guy who grew up dirt poor. Technically homeless ( although I didn’t know it at the time because my grandmother always had a couch for me to sleep on) That fear of returning to nothing never leaves you.

I try hard to not be wasteful. But. I work hard for my dollar. And I’ll be damned if I’ll go along and never treat myself. This dog is very loyal. But you have to toss him a bone every now and then. And truthfully I buy more for my wife and kid than myself x10.

I get that these irons aren’t cheap. But you know there will be a mint used set pop up soon. Start saving those pennies!

Will be 357 a club, set of 7 is 2499 Canadian. Plus tax, 13 percent if you live in Ontario as an example.

Gracious. That nuts. At some point running crates of clubs up the coast will become profitable !

A few years back, when the Canadian dollar was at par and actually a bit stronger than the US dollar, we Canadians were doing just that. One of the greatest high points of my club-hoing. I was technically buying and selling so much it easily could have been considered a business. At the time, I got texts from people I had never met asking if I had certain clubs "in stock" and for some reason I often did, with shaft options. I had people coming to me for clubs who were managers at Golf Town (the biggest golf retailer in Canada). It was nuts. Now I don't do it, because I end up losing money. It was also extremely time consuming running an unintended yet surprisingly profitable business. I sure miss the days of cheap clubs though.

I'll stop derailing this thread now though. These blueprints look way too good. Blade, you'll have to keep us updated on how the irons hold up.

My Dad never allowed himself a single thing as I grew up. Granted we didn’t have much but the guy lived for others. It hurt me to watch him not allow himself a few passions. I had always planned to spoil him but he died a young man. Treat yourself every now and then, I’m guessing the people around you would feel very good about it. I know it was always my wish to see my Pops enjoy a brand new set of golf clubs! I miss him ever day.

First day I heard these were available, and I only do business with continental golf, mine were ordered $1300 for 5-pw, that same day I looked at eBay just to see if they were out there, and there was a set, new in plastic, 4-pw $1299 free shipping, next day gone, still not there. Couldn’t remember the poster.

Remember that unlike the US, most countries are inclusive of their sales tax / GST. The US doesn't do it generally because most states are slightly different. So US$213, let's say... that's CA$286, but add 15% to that, and you get $329. So add $28, and you have Canadian prices. This assumes zero import duties, and at least in New Zealand, I know those exist... so given the variance is less than 10%, that's pretty normal.

14 Pings. Blueprints are incredibly good. Fetch is the most underrated putter on the market. Don't @ me.

Just got some in the store, $2,450 for a set. Look and feel great!! And yes, they are small, but very forgiving for their size!

Played the inaugural full 18 with the Blueprints/410 LST wood combo/fresh Glide Forged. The honeymoon ain’t ending any time soon boys. 68 around the home track with a couple bonehead bogeys and at least 5 shortish birdie putts sliding by. These irons allow more shotmaking than I’ve possibly ever enjoyed. High, low, cut, draw, hook to get out of trouble - on command. Distance and distance control are incredible. I’m giddy for the 2 & 3 irons to show up.
