Switching from a few years with the zcord and switching to something less rough and prefer the feeling of a midsize grip and wanna test how the +4 would also add to a bit thicker grip.

Tour Velvet +4 Midsize

 

I have used regular Golf Pride tour velvets and MCC in the past and taped the bottom hand to reduce the taper before they came out with the MCC+4 grips. I now game the MCC+4 midsize grey grips and I am very interested in testing the TV+4. I’ve preferred the full rubber tour velvet over the MCC previously and am very excited to try these out.

I currently have Tour Velvet ribbed, I do not like the feel of reminder ridge I feel it is too large. I am hoping that this align is less noticeable during the swing.

Tour Velvet Plus 4 standard

Tour Velvet's work the best for me overall- I tend to over cook my draw(7i down) or hook it (with longer clubs). I put 2 wraps of grip tape on standard grips and want to test if the plus 4 would make a difference to draw or hook less.

I've tried demos with the MCC Plus 4 and while I have liked the lower hand thickness of them a lot I just haven't been able to give up the classic feel that I love (and have used forever) of the original TV. ◾I have used Tour Velvets all my golfing life! while I don't mind building them up, I feel like they get a little thin feeling for me. I am hoping the +4 sort of fixes that. For a while I was using a different brand due to less taper, this may be the ticket for me
