If they keep the same schedule in 2020, at least the CP Open will be in Vancouver. Maybe more people will play then. Or, maybe just hang out in Vancouver for an extra week!

The @EuropeanTour will introduce one-shot penalties more quickly next season, increase fines, implement mandatory slow-play lectures and on-line rules tests, install pace of play monitors on tees and reduce field sizes.

A tribute to Brooke Henderson

[https://lpga.com/news/2019-brooke-henderson-face-of-canadian-golf](https://www.lpga.com/news/2019-brooke-henderson-face-of-canadian-golf "https://lpga.com/news/2019-brooke-henderson-face-of-canadian-golf")

Seemingly, Henderson regards history as just another challenge to be attacked. And it feels very much like the Brooke Henderson chapter in the history of Canadian golf is far from finished in the writing. The next installment comes this week in Magna Golf Club.

Great time today playing the back nine @cpwomensopen with Michelle, the youngest entrant this week. Check this swing out!

Thornberry Creek is gone for next season. Bummer.

Looks like the schedule next year will move the Scottish Open between the Evian and the WBO.

It sounds like the number of fans exceeded their projections, but many of the fans were locals, and didn't stay in the hotels. It appears that their revenue targets were based on hotel occupancy.

Two hours away from Milwaukee may be a little too far for them to turn it into the "Ladies ManpowerGroup Classic brought to you by Harley Davidson"

If you’re talking about Thornberry Creek, you’re right, it isn’t a great venue for on course spectators. And the Oneida wouldn’t sponsor at a different course since Thornberry is theirs.

It appears Mariajo Uribe slipped and fell on some wet flooring and dislocated her kneecap and will be out the rest of the season. At least according to her instagram. I feel like she is one of the more consistent players on tour and has usually ended up between 50 and 90 on the money list thelast several years.

I don't think I've ever seen information as detailed as this as to why a sponsor decided not to renew. It could be damaging to future potential or at least they'll do more research before the Sales team comes in and sells them all these projections.

I agree, not saying she should have been picked but as a major winner she's probably a bit perturbed, as a few others might be. Pernilla's a one n done most likely - buddy of mine was all happy when she won but I said it then, she caught lightning in a bottle but we'll never hear from her again, much like Hillary Homeyer..err Lunke.

Much like Kerr, after so many SC's it's time for these old blood girls to step aside, get some Asst. Captain experience as they are undoubtedly upcoming Capt's.

She may be the Paula Creamer of 2017, and prove everyone wrong with a steller cup, but the odds are against it I would say. Jodi is also a suspect pick imo. Euro's are not like the US team this year full of rookies, I think only one rookie - Anna. So there really wasn't any need to stack vets like Juli is likely to do - especially after seeing Catrina's picks.... (which I am also against)

I'm not the best to answer, as I don't follow LET that much, but Agree with what has already been posted - Reid, Skarpnord as already noted, and No 1 and 2 on the LET OOM might have something to say about it also... although I admit I don't know anything about them.

I'm genuinely baffled why people think Mel Reid should have made the Solheim Cup? She has played horrible golf the last two years

out of 36 LPGA events she managed 2 top tens, missed 22 of 36 cuts, minus her 2 top tens her best finish was in 2018 21st place. Honestly, despite her previous SC play, she does not deserve a pick this year.

I like Mel, and I had high expectations when she joined the LPGA, but it looks like her talent forgot to follow her across the pond.

I don't recall what they've done in the past (after Evian?) but it does seem silly especially how jam packed some other areas of the schedule were.

If I remember correctly there was a month off between the Evian and the next event after the UL Int. Crown but if memory serves they played the week after the Crown but geography made it easier to do.

I expect a number of the Korean players will be teeing it up on the KLPGA over the next few weeks.

I think the same thing, Jin Young mentioned in one of her interviews this week she only has 5 events left. So after this week and three on the Asian swing and the CME, that will giver plenty of weeks to play KLPGA events.
