This quote is one hopefully all new players take warning of. This is also why it's difficult and unfair to judge a rookie pre-season. I have high hopes for a few of the newbies, but I expect nothing in reality.

“The thing is, this is the best of the best and they come from everywhere,” she said. “My rookie year on the LPGA I thought I was a good golfer. I was ready to go. Then all of as sudden these golfers I’ve never heard of, all from different countries, they were dominating and it kind of threw me off a little bit. It was a little bit of a shocker.”

The PGA is always going to get the prime (live) hours on the networks on the weekends. Where does that leave the LPGA? The networks are not going to air a delayed broadcast of Sunday's final round during primetime.

I don't agree with the mixed fields. First, you take away half the spots for the women. We all like to see the top players, but the tour already has enough limited field events. More importantly, these events are not going to attract the top male players, so you wind up watching a bunch of no-name men mixed in with the best women. No thanks.

I always appreciate these kind of articles.

Anything helps us to know the women behind those golf clubs!

Hye Jin Choi wants an even better 2020 KLPGA than her four win 2019; and LPGA after that:

Hyo Joo Kim got robbed!! Jin Young Ko won the top 10 bonus with 12, 2nd was Brooke Henderson with 12 and 3rd was Hyo Joo Kim with 12. Jin Young won because of the tie break with 4 wins and Brooke took 2nd with 2 wins. This is a top 10 bonus so I personally feel the tie break should be based on Top 10 % and Hyo Joo Kim wins that with an impressive 60% top 10 rate. I say give Hyo Joo the 100K, poor girl played the best without getting a win give her something.https://twitter.com/LPGA/status/1197263146244870146

Shouldn't the tie breaker for top 10's be the average finishing position? Surely 12 5th place finishes is better then 12 10th place finishes.

Like some of you guys, not sure whether the amateur rankings are truly indicative of anything but we will see in the next 50 or so weeks if what I see is how she performs in the LPGA...

Bianca goes all out hence the scores are rather inconsistent. Her wedge play needs improvement but am expecting her to get some strong finishes as a rookie as a result of her style... Her length off the tee is what makes her definitely competitive in the pro tour. Now she needs some luck on the draw (literally) and in participation opportunities

The LPGA has released the 2020 schedule, which includes 33 official events and a record $75.1 million in prize money. There will be more than 500 hours of global television coverage, with at least seven events on network TV.

With the LPGA schedule full and healthy, players now want to see purses increase. The most significant purse jump for 2020 comes from the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, which will grow to $4.3 million, up $450,000 from 2019 and $1 million from when KPMG came on board in 2015.

Both the Meijer LPGA Classic and Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational are up $300,000 to $2.3 million. LPGA 2020 schedule reflects growth through record prize money, new Florida stops

Jin Young rightfully deserved a ton of attention for the player of the year award, but I wasn't paying attention to the fact that 6ix finished runner up. Not too shabby for the rookie.

The initial move would provide access to Q-Series, but not the chance to earn full cards, though Whan said that might come after the schedule has been significantly bolstered.

European players will have the final vote on Tuesday.

Commissioner Whan headed to Spain to lay out proposal for LPGA-LET partnership
