New 19* Hybrid Recommendations

I picked up a Cobra F8 the end of last year and the results were really good. I’ve been playing some simulator golf lately and still like the results I’ve been getting

Diamond tour golf has 19* cobra hybrid heads for like $10. Very cheap experiment. Bio-cell-s black I believe.

Golfworks sells a UST V2 hybrid shaft now in Matte black cheap as well. Would make a sick hybrid actually

Bio Cell S is down to $8.99 for me. They have 3h right hand.

I wish the Golfworks Canada site had the black hybrid shaft. $30 US is a great price to "experiment" with

You want to take a look at the Tour Edge CBX hybrids. Come in lofts 16-20* and 22*. Clubs are billed as being left-proof. Excellent Project X and Koro Kage stock shafts also:

LL, I don't generate the clubhead speed to play these magic wands. But I suspect you do.

I looked at the web page and did not see where they mentioned anti left. Can you tell me where you saw that please, as that appeals to me greatly.

Thanks

Likely player/golfer reviews...there lots of antileft threads and I'm sure CBX has been mentioned. One reason would be the lie angles. Take a peak at them vs. other hybrids of similar loft. It's one reason why they might be antileft. And it's highly unlikely any OEM would advertise in print that their club is antileft!

I can vouch for the anti left in the CBX. As someone that can hook a rake, I haven’t been able to turn it over. I have the 18 with hzrdus black and nothing but baby fades all day. I also have the CBX 3 wood with KKDC Tini and have no problem hooking that for reference. Both are very long and low spin. If you want high and soft the CBX prob isn’t the best option.

i havent hit many models tbh. but the cally apex is legit. plays very much like an iron. super versatile - strong off the tee and from a host of lies. not as long as the older cally it replaced, but also not a hook machine.

I recommend the Mizuno CLK 19* was recently fit for this coming from the TM M2. It's 8-way adjustable for loft/lie just feels great and sounds so good. I hit it best from the standard setting, picked up another 8 yards carry on average. It looks great at address, matte black finish and the perfect sized Mizzy logo right down the middle. Try it out, I was surprised and now very happy with it.

Cobra King f7 and f8 have been wonderful for me. The rails are really good and they inspire confidence (which is just as important to me). Hot enough but more importantly very consistent in distance for those scoring shots.

I'm sure the F9 is also great but the older models are so cheap that they're a no-brainer.

Love my new G410. Love. Incredibly solid feel, great launch, accurate and the adjustability is a great addition. It’s very quickly become my favorite club. Don’t buy something else without hitting it.

I can see where the turbulators on a smaller head might bother some people, but if you’re already hitting a driver with them, it shouldn’t be an issue.

Did you hit the G400 hybrid? I tried that one, wasn't much a fan of the look and it only felt good out of the center. Miss the sweet spot and it felt punishing. If the G410 is better across the face I will look at it.

OP, another one that may deserve a look is the Mizuno CLK... been reading its got a pretty hot face. 909s are good hybrids, still. Haven't really found anything I can trust more than my 913h yet, but I may start looking a little harder.

currently looking at

callaway rogue - stock shaft is questionable as stiff shows 68g. prefer heavier weight in hybrid. why wouldn't callaway offer a stock shaft that is a bit heavier?

Been playing the Biocell hybrid since it came out. Put a Rogue Black x in it and I got to see what a great head it is. Stock shaft did not fit me and felt cheap. The head looks amazing at address and it goes a mile. Adjustability is fantastic as well. Cobra makes great woods and hybrids and are a great value proposition.
