36” putter

I’m 5’11” and use a 35.75” putter. I picked this up from Stan Utley and know that Brad Faxon’s putter is also in that 35.75-36” range. Not sure on their weights. All of my putters are weighted about 360 grams at that length. I like to feel like the putter is crashing into the ball with just the weight of the head swinging and not additional effort.

5’11” here and have my putter at 36.25”, 68* lie and 360 grams.  I found that once I got used to elbow bend in line with shaft plane, the heavier weight swings itself and the putter just crashes into the ball.  But I work with Stan Utley and like his philosophy which starts with this setup.

6'6" and have played 36" putters forever but recently gone up to a 37" putter and I'm loving it even more.

I’m 6’ 3” and play at 36”. A lot more comfortable, keeps me more connected to the body!

310 to 320 gram head weight is good for a well balanced 36" putter.

I feel like 36” is Pariah Of Putter lengths 

 

6’3 , 36” with golf shoes on cut length is the best for me, 72* lie , 348g head weight 

 

pendulum stroke and more importantly for me I can see the line better 

 

albeit a little awkward at first

6’ 3” and my putters at 36 shaft = 36.25 with grip cap. Sometimes a little less, maybe an eight but right around 36”+.

 

So used to that length that a 35.50 feels short.

I'm 6' 4" and a bit, and all legs. I tried to add some inches to my shaft, up to 37", but found I was holding the putter way down the grip. Back to 35.5" and it feels right. I'm bent over a bit, but you can't beat a good feel.
