Ping I210 Long Term Reviews - Anyone?

I gamed the i210s on and off the past two years, made my first hole-in-one last week after 40 years, I am a believer............lol

I ordered 12/12/20 from Club Champion and received on 1/20/21.  Right around 5.5 weeks.  Was quoted 4.

I got fit there so ordered in person.  I assume you could call and order without fitting but not sure.

That’s exactly what I play. A great shaft/head combo for me.  I don’t think you will regret it.

Thinking i210 with modus 120s too. How would you describe the feeling? is it soft/buttery? 

Also can't decide on loft specs. (power spec, standard, retro) Any feedback would be appreciated.

Wow I am envious. I ordered mine from Club Champion one week later on 12/19/20 and was quoted at about 6.5 weeks. Then the ETA for delivery rolled around and they said there has been a delay and Ping won't have new heads until the 18th so now I'm looking at a late February/Early March delivery which is about 10-11 weeks. 

 

I'm dying with anticipation and the worst part is that I have a golf trip planned on February 25th and it sounds like I won't have them in time.

Super excited to get a notice of shipment this morning for my i210s.  Ordered them on Nov. 19 and will be in Thursday.  They quoted 10 weeks at the time of order and will be arriving just a bit over 10 weeks. I was expecting a longer delay so this is a nice surprise

I have always heard that many people like the ping irons but they complain of how easily the coating come off the irons.

I'm gaming the i210 with modus 120 too and it's by far the most automatic iron set I've ever owned 😛
Feel is not bad. I had mizuno mp-20 mmc before and even if the i210 aren't forged the feel is not miles away from mp-20!

I’ve had my set since they were released and haven’t had any issues with the coating bubbling, peeling or coming off.

Congrats on the heads my friend......I put mine with stock AWT 2.0.......very , very happy.......better/ more confident than with PXG

I’m very very excited to get them in the bag. I’ve tried to make other irons work and I always come back to ping. Not sure why I fight it.

I've only dabbled with ; unsure why but man have I missed out! ......73 with 14 GIR's on horrible putting surfaces.....playing tomorrow on MUCH better greens.

Remember,  I'm old and don't play tips....but i210s really will bump my level of consistency.......in particular the long irons are just a dream!

Either way congrats, they are some solid heads that should handle any and all situations you find yourself in.

Not understanding the kool-aid reference.....when you've played for 30yrs , at some point you should know your needs ....are they perfect ? No, are they what everyone should play? No .....but seeing the Tour presence and Pings' unwillingness to rush into replacing.......I digress

These are still being played on tour. Either they are pretty good, or Ping is paying well enough.

They are 110 proto f4 , will see how they go. Would prob go to modus 120 if these don’t work in them.

Played a familiar course......shot even par with 5 birds and 5 bogies.....2 poor drives didn't leave me much

 

Hit 12 GIR's......the other 4 were a missed 9i, U wedge 6i n 4i......getting up n down on 2 of those and one 3 putt to finish.....

 

The main takeaway from my 2nd Round with Ping i210 irons; I'M MADLY, INSANELY IN LOVE with these irons.......once dialed into my specs(length n lie) I'm truly expecting to average 13+ per round......SERIOUSLY.....these ABSOLUTELY fit my needs : easy to launch,  look and feel great, very forgiving without being overly bulky.

So had 1/2" chopped off butt end.....didn't get swingweights but I'll check later.....today I went to the range .....as long as I kept up my rotation vs sliding through,  I hit absolute great shots......nearing the end, I hit 2 4i's off the deck that just looked delicious.....😍😍😍

Even the misses(thin) went directionally correct.....dying for next round seeing how I'm driving it, putting it and now approaching it with tons of confidence......

What other irons have you used? Plan on keeping i210 even after ping releases something newer? Possibly i59?
