Can anyone compare the Rogue White 60tx to the Diamana ZF 60tx I'm currently using?

Would the white considered a step up from the Aldila Silver 130?

I have the silver 130 70TX, but for whatever reason I keep gravitating back to my Phenom NL 60 TX. The Phenom just seems to come off hotter to my eye (I should probably just get on a launch monitor)

The silver 130 Just seems like I bunt it with no spin, vs the phenom just takes off and stays in the air a bit longer

Some additional independent information on these shafts, especially since there has been a lot of questions since the "standard" version is stock in the new Callaway woods. Anyone that is interested in the detailed specs of shafts, I would recommend subscribing to golfshaftreviews.info. It's very cheap and well worth it.

The Aldila Rogue White have two EI profile designs as you can see in the charts below. The TX stiffness is a different profile, the tips are much stiffer. As I worked through the measurements I thought I saw an outlier in the 60TX until I measured the 70 and 80 gram TX versions.

The Aldila Rogue White 130 MSI TX models are substantially different from the non TX designs. I see the Aldila Tour Green, a stiffer tip design. I also see a very close match in the Aldila Rogue Silver 130 MSI profiles. It makes sense to me that the TX designation is a variation on the X designation. I wish I would see more of this in the shaft business.

Radial consistency is perfect, averaging 99.4% with a standard deviation of 0.5%. As claimed by Aldila, this is a high balance shaft. The consistency of the profiles is excellent. You can move from shaft to shaft in the matrix knowing the profile is not changing. Until you get the the TX versions as illustrated below. The Rogue White 130 is a classic design. If you are familiar with the Aldila Tour Blue you will be at home with the Rogue White 130

I don't think you're going to be able to draw a lot of distinction on paper - as far as what performance you'll see. They're all relatively low launch and spin. White and Silver are similar, with White having a higher balance point. Since you like AD DI, which also has high balance, I'd lean White between those two. Can't comment much on the RIPx other than what I've read on here, and it has some big fans. Old school RIP alpha has a really stiff mid section - some hard loaders like that profile to control deflection/ball flight. Not typically going to help you create launch though. I'm guessing with Aldila's new material tech though the new one is a bit friendlier as far as launch conditions.

Just an fyi, AD DI does not have a high balance point. It would be considered neutral.

VU6WC6P5XI03.pngYou're incorrect. The last column lists balance points. 3 inches above center is very high, 2 still fairly high, 1 inch is getting pretty traditional. For reference the shaft everyone on here thinks is so massively counterbalanced, Tensei Pro Orange, ranges from 2.5 to 3.5 depending on the spec. Info is from the same site RonSwanson cites above, golfshaftreviews.info

What @mtg referenced is not a matter of experience, a shaft's balance point is a very straight forward measurement.

I agree with you, but a measurement is a number and the DI does not a have a counterbalance” feel “ to it.

Can anyone compare the Silver 70TX to HZRDUS Smoke 70x tipped 1”? Currently playing Smoke in 9* Epic Flash SZ and cannot find many Smoke shaft comparisons to the Aldila ATX and Rogue shafts. Former gamer shaft was OG Tour Green ATX 65x tipped 1” until hitting the Smoke/EFSZ combo. Curious how the Rogues compare in performance (Launch/spin) and feel. Thanks in advance for any input!

Put a white 60tx in my Mavrik with tour flat adapter - kicked the Tensei PO right out the bag.

The slight kick just helps keep everything in play where the PO I would occasionally block one out right if I got stuck or was a bit inside.

The feel of the rogue is amazing and def keeps the spin down while maintaining that slight kick - nothing that I have felt before.

I’ve been playing the Rogue Silver 60tx in my driver and have absolutely loved it. I am a bit of a shaft ho and have tried/owned way too many shafts (last year I gamed Tensei PW, Tensei PO, Accra TZ5, Project X “Hulk”, and Smoke Yellow). I am currently playing the stock Rogue White80x in my 3wood (previously I was playing TPW 80TX) and it is the best 3 wood shaft I’ve ever hit. I ordered it in because it was the heaviest, stiffest stock shaft Callaway offered for the Mavrik SZ and I wanted to try the new Rogue line. I was thinking I would switch it out, but I have really been surprised how well it performs. I don’t feel like it plays soft to flex at all. Incredibly smooth and takes my aggressive transition with ease. I am not sure how much Callaway tips 3wood shafts but this one is perfect for me. Only 3wood shaft I have played that comes close (for my swing) is the Oban Purple 80x.

I actually ordered the Silver 60tx after I got the white 80x. Can’t believe how good they are for my game. Haven’t had a chance to get them on trackman yet to get numbers, but on course they have preformed incredibly so I am not even gonna worry about it. I am a little bummed because there is no need to switch shafts this summer and I love to tinker.

For reference my swing speed last time I was on trackman (pre-covid) I was averaging 91mpg with 7 iron and 108mph with driver. Have been playing a bunch because my work was shut down, so may have added a few mph. I fight a negative attack angle and early release so I’m a pretty high spin player and my handicap hovers around 4-6.

Great to hear how well they are working out for you. It's a really unique shaft in that it's EI graph shows that it shouldn't be this low spin, but it is. It's a real testament to Aldila how they can design a shaft that performs so well for stronger players with a curve that wouldn't make you think it would be so profound. I'm sure a LOT of these were cut up and reverse engineered by other companies.

Not currently.  I am gaming Ventus Blue 7X in my 3 wood.  Drank the Kool-Aid and I like it.  Kept the White 80X just in case.
