Check out Tour Edge website and eBay.  I just bought a brand new CBX 119 FW for $120 shipped!

Nice, just grabbed a brand new CBX 119 from eBay (through RBG) for a little bit more than $120... I think $135 or so. Hitting it today after work against the CB4 and CB5 fairways..

My two favorites are Hogan Apex blades and Ping Eye 2s. Obviously, these are on opposite ends of the spectrum. However, I played both "back in the day". I shot my lowest score ever (71) with the Hogans and made my only hole-in-one with the Pings. Both sets are still in my garage.

I owned both of those sets as well. Loved each for different reasons. Probably played better with the Pings but had more memorable moments (and of course more "bag cred") with the Hogans.

I also like seeing Orlimar on this thread (opened the door to shallow-faced fairways), and of course the TaylorMade V-Steels. But I thought the TaylorMade 200 series was at least as good. Nice to see someone mentioned those as well.

It never reached any cult status or popularity, but I'll still pull out the Adams XTD Ti driver over my TS2 to hit a bomb.  Last of the Adams they said was "extra time and dollars" in the making, and TM adapter compatible.  (Partially stirring up demand so my XTD heads are valued higher... no, not selling, you crazy? Lol).

I have this bag set up although I rotate putters as I don't have an older 33"Whitehot 2-Ball or the Tour filled model, yet:

905R 9.5* with a 76S V2

906F2 15* with a 85S V2

Adams Speedline Classic 19* with an S300

TM 300 Forged with Rifle 6.0s

Vokey 200 Series Tour Chrome wedges

Had the driver, fairway and wedges in the bag for many years, years ago and very comfortable with them in hand.  Hybrid has such a solid thwack to it and the irons speak for themselves.

I bought a set of Adams CMB heads here last year and have been playing them ever since... they were in really good condition when I got them...

I'm used to cast irons that don't show wear... it's going to be a sad day when I replace the CMBs due to wear one day...

Oh well.

I had these! They were good, but couldn’t live up to the TS-202s I had before them. Those were money.

Still have 7.5 975D with Prolite X. Took it out for a windy round couple years ago. Too stout for me these days, ha. But I made it work. Stingers.

Those Grafalloy shafts always seemed to play too stiff to me. One of the few people that avoided them.

Gonna build a virtual cult bag (taking "cult" as not hugely popular outside of wrx or forums in-the-know, so no V steel, Eye2, 2-Ball...):

D- Adams 9015D

3W- TEE CB2

5W- Cobra F6 Baffler

4-PW- Bridgestone J15 CB

GW- Adams MB2

SW, LW- Wilson PMP

P- SeeMore FGP

Nice post! Here's what I came up with:

Driver -- Adams Fast 12 LS (never actually played this ironically)

Woods -- Taylormade Burner TP or Taylormade V-Steel or Sonartecs

Hybrids -- Adams Idea Pro Tour Prototype, Callaway Razr Tour, Sonartec MD, Hogan Apex

Irons -- Hogan Apex, 735CM

SW -- Cleveland 588, Vokey 200 series

LW -- Eye 2 BeCu, Cleveland 588, Vokey 200 series

Putter -- BeCu MyDay, Anser 2, Pro Platinum NP2, TeI3 NP2

This was genuinely hard to do because of all of the good options

    • Sony Open Pics from January 11, 2022 Part 1
I was able to get out to the Sony Open today to take a few pics.  I guess due to Covid precautions they kept the spectators pretty far from the players.  Also due to camera restrictions they've put in place, I wasn't able to bring the big lens like I normally do. Hopefully they'll ease up on the ropes and I'll be able to get more pics tomorrow!
