It’s the 007. I ordered July 13th. I think I was one of the last to get an order in before it stocked out. Wasn’t expecting it until next week.

Word word . Yea my order was the 12th . Told 15 business days but I have seen people who ordered the 13th already getting there’s . Hopefully today or tomorrow

Welp I am guesse my intuition was right , shafts out of stock

Yeah I ran into that too with my 699 Pro order. I decided to wait rather than guess with what was available. I've decided that when I make my goal and break into single digit handicap territory, I'm going to order players irons then.

Interesting, unfortunately I sold my irons based off a conversation I had with a sales rep. So I am going with another choice. I will say that it was good on them to provide it at no up charge.

Anybody have suggestions for going to a club fitter and picking a similar head to the 699 pro's or the 639cb's. Just want to hit something similar for trying out different shafts.

Also what is shaft stock like right now? Particularly in the stiff flex?

For the 699 Pros, go try the TaylorMade P790.

I would call sounded like they where out of everything. KBS 90 , 105 , Tour , c tapers . I know with other manufacturers KBS and True Temper are basically non existent

If you can find a set of Ping i500s, they are like the 699 Pros, just twice as expensive.

Dynamic Gold anything is pretty standard for stiff shafts, but be aware of its low spin/low flight profile.

I put in my order for wedges in late Jun and got them in mid Jul, with Modus 120 in stiff. There were no stock issues with the Modus 120 at that time; I got it in the normal 3-4 week build time quoted.

The 105 are described as a Mid/low flight . But ping says there a mid high flight .

I take it as a weirdly positive sign if they are sold out of stuff. It means there was more demand than there is supply, and even if it didn't work out for me this time, I'm definitely going to do business with them in the future.

I am still going to order the mid mallet when it comes back in Stock

Are they as forgiving?

I mean, it's Ping, so it's hard to go wrong. When I began the search for new irons, I actually wanted the i500s but couldn't find them new anywhere. I tried them alongside the Sub70s that are now in my bag, and found them to be comparable, but much more expensive.

Same for me. I'm probably also going to put in a wedge order for a 54 and 58.

My 699U Pro arrived! Only 1 round and range session in the books, but wow! This is my first true custom ordered club. 3/4" short, 2* flat, and weakened from 17* to 18* with the HZRDUS Smoke Black 80. I bought it with the intention of using it as an alternate tee club (not much confidence in FW at the moment) and enjoyed it much more than my previous experiments with a GAPR MID and G Crossover.

Off the tee it flat performed. I was so pleased with the flight and roll which I couldn't seem to find with the TM or Ping and the sound/feel at impact, just so fantastic. I can't allude to much off the deck as I only took one thin shot on the final hole, but it still ended up in better position than my layup😅.  The guys at Sub70 were a pleasure to deal with and now I'm just contemplating my next purchase.

So I got my 699 Pro demos in the mail today, and got to hit a few at the range before I had to pick up a pizza. Love the look of the club, but the face felt completely dead. Has anyone else run into that issue? Is it the club, or is it because it’s a demo and therefore been beat to death?

My 699 Pro's are definitely not dead.  The feel is amazing and the ball definitely jumps off the face.  I'd contact them, they are absolutely the best when it comes to customer service.

Same here.  DG X100 for 4-P.  50°, 54°, 58° have DG S400.

Same here I have mentioned before.  Went Modus 120 stiff in my 699 pros 5-GW, and in my wedges now and best decision really keeps the feel cohesive.  I always hated having a suddenly heavy wedge in my hand or something that felt different.

I believe Sub70 uses .370 tips and I am not sure if they use butt and tip weights to even it back out. They don’t give swings weights .

I went with with 105S300 and plan on eventually swapping on some 120SG300 soft stepped in the winter. The AMT White is probably a better overall fit for me but I am poor
