We are thinking about going there in December, anyone have any thoughts about the course or any of the hotels on the property. Thanks in advance.

i played there last year in august, it was my favorite of the courses i played out there. its all inclusive so it includes drinks and food every few holes.

 

i played the 2 Nicklaus 9s.

 

im going back to Cabo in Sept this year and plan to play a couple rounds again there so i can play the Norman 9.

 

the course plays and feels a lot like Pelican Hills here in Newport Beach, CA. but better maintained

 

if you plan to play some other courses in Cabo it's worth checking out this package deal from the compaby that owns a Puerto and a couple other courses out there.

you can basically by a multi round pass and use it at any 1 of 3 public courses there.

 

we stayed at the hyatt ziva last year and will be staying there again this year.

That sounds awesome. Any other recommendations for courses in the area?

My wife just bought me a trip to Cabo for my birthday yesterday. I am going to try my hardest to ask a Pro I know to get me on Quivira because we're staying at Secrets and from what I understand, you can only play Quivira if you are staying at one of the properties (which we aren't). Worst case scenario, I will buy a Questro pass to play a few different ones and hope to play the Cabo Del Sol Ocean Course when it reopens in November.

played the ocean and Puerto last October. The food and drink were outstanding and the golf was a step below the ocean but worth the price...and adventure getting there.

There were discount rates on teeoff.com that made it quite the bargain.
