2-4g of hotmelt placed neutrally ought to improve the sound.

Sorry to bring this one back from the grave, but I just finally grabbed a 10.5 flash sub zero off of CPO. After trading in my Rogue, it only cost me $140 for a Flash in great condition. This thing is massively long and way lower spin than my Rogue sub zero. I've easily picked up 15 yards of carry on my Rogue. A well hit ball seemingly goes forever. Hit the 293 pole on the fly last night at the driving range with a range ball. My best drives with the Rogue would trickle out to that point. I usually only hit a handful of drives at the range, but this thing is so fun to hit I just didn't want to put it back in the bag. I'm itching to get in some more rounds with it.

I got one of these about a month ago too and same results for me. My miss is high toe, and as long as it's not too high and too toe, it still goes miles AND more importantly stays on line much better than my old M3 which had that Twistface BS... Love this driver, and love the feel. Sound is a bit loud, but I don't mind.

I had the standard Rogue 3w and the Rogue driver it's a very clear step above in both categories, but I would say noticeably more with the driver. I will say though I love the sound of a flushed Epic Flash SZ 3 wood, it's so unique and addicting.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I'll probably pull the trigger the next time I see a sale on CPO. My Rogue SZ is more than fine for now. It feels so sweet and I like that it's fade biased (at least for me), but I feel like I'm leaving a bit on the table in terms of distance. I don't get much more out of it than my Ltd Pro 4/5 wood (which is a GREAT fairway in it's own right).

I have had the Rogue sz and the EF sz. When new, both were very long with down range distance, noticeable to the eye vs. hitting previous drivers at the same time. After a couple months, that downrange distance goes away. I feel the faces are hot at first and then "come back" to reality

Has anyone else experienced the same? Many others agree with me at my club that even other brands are super long in the beginning and then a reduction occurs.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead...

Liked this for a bit, but I just can't seem to figure out my miss with this club. When I find the center of the face.. It's nice.

Hit the mav regular version and it seems to be longer than the Epic Flash Sub Z and for me is much more forgiving...

I swing pretty fast so I was hoping the sub zero would really help me. Maybe it did at first and now I'm just in my feelings. I hate golf.

Would you consider the Flash sub zero a “players driver?”

I ask bc I bought the epic flash (not Sub zero) 3 wood a few weeks back and love it and I’m considering the Sub zero driver as a replacement to my Ping G30. I can’t hit the G30 to save my life but I I consistently hit my epic flash 3 wood 240-240 and very straight. I’m no single handicapper though - average mid 80s.

Lastly, would you match shafts in the epic flash 3 wood/driver? I have the Tensei blue in my 3 wood so I assume that would make for a good fit in the driver as well.
