Anyone else "Cheating"

I know this site update is still a work in progress (or I should say I am hoping this is only 20% donel.....) but anyone else find themselves "cheating" and going to other sites to get your golf fix. =)

 

*Also love how the emoji comes in at a random location lol........plus italic test does not work in posts....

Yes. More and more unfortunately. The other forums work with the Tapatalk app, and with the new format, GolfWRX has zero Tapatalk compatibility.

I have no real problem with the site as is. There are some things that are a little jank, but they’ll get fixed. I’m looking forward to seeing what comes about here and don’t sweat the small stuff.

I hope it comes around for sure as WRX was really the only site I would go to for...well anything besides amazon.

BST sadly is not good now which was a HUGE part for me

Sorry did not take screen shots and ended up contacting the person directly but I was trying to get shaft for my 3 wood and it was as if the information was up there and than gone. It was right during the change but the big reason i liked WRX BST so much was owner (you) and everyone had a good way of protecting each other. I could be wrong but it does not feel like that now.

 

Edit: I just checked and don't see how you can search like before for US Only...etc. I am probably missing something but that was a function I liked.

If other golf sites interested me I wouldn't be here, don't have time for more than one, lol. I'm not a big fan of what we have at present, but there seems to be confidence that when things are done they will be great and what we have was necessary so waiting it out and trying to be optimistic. Lack of responsiveness on some questions hasn't helped, but maybe it's about just getting the feedback and using that information, so I can see where not answering questions may be part of it, also, but still frustrating. I do visit a couple of other forums that are non-golf that still look and function very, very well and used them as examples in the main thread - if this gets back to something similar to before and like some other high quality forums, or even better, great!

I’ve looked and poked around at another one, mainly because it just feels like it’s been so quiet around here lately. But this is “Home” and I’m not going anywhere. I’m starting to figure it out a little bit and the guys are very responsive to questions (and even complaints), I have confidence it will be fine.

And besides, how could anyone go to a site that doesn’t have PepperTurbo or DavePelz4 (and hundreds of others as well)!

Here's the thing, I want to do whatever I can to help these forums be as good as they were....

 

But no #'s on posts... makes it really hard to track conversations.

Nope. I really don't have an issue of where the site is. It is getting better and can't wait for the full reveal. Until then, I still get what I want and have figured out how to get it.
