Another key thing to remember about the afternoon scoring, most years the greens get tracked up especially when its this soft. Phil pointed out the new rule changes allowing players to fix spike marks in their lines makes a world of difference.

For those watching Masters on the Range while supposed to be working, like me... I may have heard the most ridiculous comment of all time and had to share it.

 

They are watching DJ and Koepka next to each other warming up, commenting on how DJ looks like a basketball player and Brooks looks like a football player. "I bet DJ is the only guy in the field that can dunk" Other guy goes "nope, I know Tiger can.... and he can dunk from the free throw line like Michael Jordan." The other announcer was like... hang on, are you sure, that doesn't sound believable at all... and he backs it up by saying yes I have heard that, my sources told me that, it's true....

 

First off, there's probably several guys in the field that can dunk it, Finau has to be able to, along with a few others... but regardless, the MJ Free throw line dunk from Tiger has to be the craziest thing I have heard all day. So basically everything that is said on the range here on out needs to be discounted.

Huge Tiger fan here and I know for a fact he can't dunk a basketball.. So you're wrong there. :)

You need to be able to get your elbow close to the rim in order to properly dunk.. more so, if you can't palm the ball.

 

Finau, can definitely dunk as I watched him do it at a charity event last year.
