The mods and management here have changed thread titles in the past (a current example is referenced in this thread) and outright deleted/removed other threads. Which is their right to do so. This thread was a hit job on a forum sponsor plain and simple from the start. Witness the gutless OP running away after his post and not refuting anything provided by the sponsor. The thread title needs changed or the thread needs to go away. IMO.

I don't really disagree with you, I just said it could be a slippery slope.

The other thread title you're referring to was worse, because it implied that the seller could be selling fake clubs. And that seller may have threatened to sue if the name wasn't removed.

Just putting "avoid" and then telling his story (no matter how off base he is) is the OP's opinion. Businesses get unfairly trashed by angry, dumb buyers every day. That's part of business.

And, the vast majority of buyers know better than to base their decisions off of one person's experience and opinion.

I bought a set of baby blades from Will... he was very prompt and professional. I've worked in club fitting before and have the tools to discern the quality of a build. (Access to a digital Mitchell and a friend who manages a Club Champion) I'm sorry you had a poor experience but from my understanding you are in a very small percentage of the population of Golfwrx (myself included).

You say it is ok when a thread title is changed because that seller "may have threatened to sue" because they may be selling fakes? The OP accused Will and said he reported him for tax issues which isn't correct.

The only slippery slope I see is the one on you picking a side.

Did I say it was "ok" to change other thread title? No, I didn't...

If I had to pick a side I would say the thread title should be changed. I never said that it shouldn't be. So I'm not sure what you're talking about. You're not reading very carefully.

We're really overanalyzing it at this point though. I'm sure the mods will do whatever is best.
