Cut down TS3 51” Irons or Flynn Irons?

They seem to have a slight impact on the way his irons are getting through the turf, as his strikes seem to be a little less consistent. The clubs look and feel great and he loves them. I'm not entirely sold that they're right for him, but we'll see.

Noticeable difference in ball flight and consistency, especially with her inconsistent swing. A grade or two more expensive, but with a free regrip/club extension, I think it’s worth it.

I am looking at the Prodi G 3 wood and hybrids for my son .....are you referring to the irons, woods, or both in your comparison to TS3?

That is a lot of clubs for a 6 yo!

Just don't get to caught up in equipment at that age. It will make very little difference at 6 years old. Plenty of time for clubhoeing down the road!

Only irons. For the price of the driver, I’d say you can get a comparable TM or Cobra, and adjust the shaft as is. From pics, the driver head looks to be aluminum, so I can’t really imagine it is any better than USKG. Those dragonfly vent things aren’t really adding any clubhead speed.

My daughter does not currently play a 3W, so I can’t comment on that or the putter. As for wedges, we are all in on Cleveland.

Referring to the finding in this string that USK TS3 V15 are lighter than VT MAX ALTO Series 1, the weight difference might be attributable to grip weight. The V15 irons & wedges clubheads are not lighter than ALTO S1. But the grip weight difference could be as much as 10 grams.

If so, what can be an important consideration is that because of the grip's position on the club, grip weight mostly acts as a counterweight - which actually reduces the swingweight of a club, rather than adding to it.

The New Pink Flynn irons look amazing. Anyone have experience with the old Velocity heads? My daughter is a lefty so don't have the new irons in Lefty that I see.

The new shaft seems quality and an upgrade.
