And that is fine. I am just disagreeing with their decision. Its their event, they can do what they want. I am just saying I would have done it differently. We will all live, I think .

I've walked Bethpage Black a few times with a caddie, it's not fun and definitely impacts your golf game. I was physically tired after playing rounds on the Black course, riding on that course is a huge advantage.

Beta blockers may not take you from 100 - the #1 player in the world but they can be a huge advantage down the stretch if you get nervous when the pressure it on and Tiger and his mob of fans all rooting for you to **** the bed.

Everyone has some kind of disadvantage vs another person if pro sports were all about levelling the field they would let them play the tourney with full handicap.

I don’t have any issue with JD and have sympathy for anyone dealing with a disability.

I don’t have any issue with the PGA’s implementation of the rule.

I believe the Supreme Court made a poor decision that creates this situation, but the law is the law and it isn’t changing anytime soon. You can feel this way without hating Daly or clutching pearls.

I am all for shorts being permitted. I think the no shorts thing is dumb. SEE? I am not a total grump.. At least not yet. Carts should not be permitted for tourney golf though. Other than beer league scrambles.

I hope JD lead wire to wire, get all the TV time.

Cruise up the 18th on Sunday in a golf cart, ride right up onto the green, and tap in the winning put while still seated and drinkin a brewski.

> You don't see a difference between being stretched out and riding in a cart 4 days while your competitors walk a long hilly course? Have you ever walked the Black course? I have a torn meniscus so I don't doubt his knee may hurt but the fact he now has diabetes and suffers from dizzy spells indicates his overall physical condition has declined to the point where simply walking the course would raise his pulse and breathing rate to a point where he can't swing a club or putt well.

He is flawed as we all are. Everyone doesn’t age gracefully no matter how they live their life. I honestly don’t have a problem with it but I’m sure plenty of the “purists” do. It’s happening regardless and I can’t see where the advantage lies. Isn’t available on the senior tour? Does Langer use a cart to win all his tournaments?
