I wonder if they workout together? I bet they have a talking point playbook that they bring out again...and again...and again. The reason I usually watch on mute. Rarely do commentators ever add anything of substance.

Hes kind of the anti-Koepka now isnt he?

Koepka is making major championships look easy, but fairly indifferent in average tour stops.

McIlroy is pretty competitive in the average tournament, looks like a fringe tour player in majors.

Course is drying out....that's all that is. Playing the way it's supposed to. Weather should be good through tomorrow, but Sunday doesn't look good. Thunderstorms. They may have to move tee times up if this current pattern holds.

Edit: Rory is 8/15 in top 10s in majors since his last win. Yes no wins is an issue but, for the most part, his golf has been good.

The USGA denied Daly's request for a cart at last year's Senior Open. I would expect the R&A to do the same.
