I'm convinced these are fake!!

I know they look great, but I'm certain these are fakes....the blade is just too long, and from mizuno they do not come with that kind of plastic on the head, it's either a loose plastic bag with an elastic or nothing at all!!

Also look at the paint fill on the grooves. It looks different to a MP-60.

Like he said before Mizuno golf clubs only come with baggies over the head with a rubberband or nothing at all with each head set in a black foam headcover. Those are fakes for sure.

They also dont put paint in the grooves. Sole is too rounded as well. Now up to $455, someone's going to be very upset.

I have seen MP-60 heads only for sale as well. I think there is a lot of fakes out these days. You have to be very careful. Fake Camerons, and Camerons that have a different finish and/or paint fill, additional stampings are being sold as "tour" when they are furthest from. Be careful lads.... :tongue:

The biggest tell tale that I see is the part where the cut muscle is on the club. That part has more of a dull satin look. These look to have a shot peened finish. Also, like stated before, the grips are definitely not lettered with gold paint. FAKE a** FAKE!!! :tongue: :help:

I have Gold Lettering on my Mizuno MP-33 2-iron. I know their real because I bought them off a Mizuno touring pro. (Thery're just normal MP-33's though)

 

But I must admit, those do look fake but are very good to the untrained eye. Thanks for warning!

no, the new mp60s come std. with the golfpride tour velvet just like the mp32s. Cords are not std.

Those pics just look like they've been stretched so that they are no longer proportional.

 

Also, if you look closely at the pic, you can see that the wrapper is, in fact, the kind of "bag" that Mizuno uses on its irons. The bag has been pulled tight and wrapped around the hosel.

 

Personally, I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that they are fakes based just on those pics. I would have contacted the seller before "outting" the guy.

Compared ebay pictures to mizunousa.com pictures-

 

Ebay mp-60s: Cut Muscle is a little higher on the face, cut muscle ends past the "M" on MP-60, face has 13 grooves.

 

Mizunousa.com MP-60s: Cut Muscle is a little lower on the face, the cut muscle ends about the "P", face has 12 grooves.

 

My ruling: Fake.
