The Midsize TV BCT that Ping offers is round, not ribbed. Ping part number 33722-08. It’s listed as a Tour Velvet 360 cord - Gold color code, it however is not the 360 design, but has the Golf Pride logo on one side. Any Ping account holder can order them. I contacted 2nd Swing about these and was really surprised by the price, in a good way. Quoted a couple bucks cheaper than normal BCT grips.

Ping account, as in a pro shop, or anyone with an online account. I’m having a hard time finding them and would love to try them as I love the tv cord with 4 wraps and wondering if a midsize may feel better.

I was told by Ping that any retail account can order them. I tried to order direct from Ping but they aren’t allowed to sell another manufacturers product direct to consumer, only Ping branded items. I contact 2nd swing golf since they are one of the largest Ping accounts in the country. They said they could order them for me.

-OMG is this actually happening? I don't see anything about pre-order I just see we can order them right now.

-Anyone know what the midsize weigh? Think my MCCs are 59g so hoping it's within a few grams more/less so I can keep my swing weight the same. I'm going to order a bunch of these as soon as I can.

No specs listed on the website yet, but would guess it would be close to the midsize TV grip at 53.5 grams. Probably a gram or 2 heavier due to the cord.

Also noticed they have the V55 listed for preorder as well.

Hopefully they run a few grams heavier since the reg tour velvet full cords are a bit heavier than reg tour velvet.

Would like to try it out, but I’m actually very happy with the feel of the +4 wraps on the standard size. Not sure if I’d actually like a softer cord feel.

Thanks! Just curious because I have midsize MCC black/red on my irons now and they're 59g so just wanted to be sure they weren't much more than that to avoid swing weight issues.

Does anyone know the weight of the midsize cord? Not seeing it on the Golf Pride site.

Above someone stated 63-64 and someone also has posted 60g which they said they weighed. Seems like these would be accurate. I emailed golf pride after trying to call them and they responded:

"We have requested this information and will update you once we have it.

These are new grips to the website and that information hasn’t been posted yet but our

Marketing has assured us they will have it to us shortly."

Was hoping for a quick answer since it's a really simple thing to let a customer know, but I guess we will be waiting for them to update it. Would like to see more measurements from people on several grips! I want to put an order in but need to know the weight before I decide to go through with it.
