Glide forged have some offset. Personally I don’t think that match that well. I would look at Callaway Mack daddy forged or some sm7’s/8’s.

Just buy lower lofts with lower bounce and bend them weak to take offset away and add the bounce back

I got fitted for them earlier today. I tried EVERY head I would consider playing (t100, mp20, srixon,) and the blueprints were easily the best performer. They are more forgiving than they look.

Anyone else agree with the high ball flight comment earlier. I get there are a lot of factors in play here but I'm already a high ball flight/spin player...

Will (try to) wait until I can do an outdoor fitting but am a little obsessed with the look of them :-)

Completely disagree. They have a lower more penetrating ball flight. Definitely lower than the i210s. The ball flight in the short irons is awesome.

Interested to hear from Blueprint owners. Have a test set arriving tomorrow. Currently gaming Srixon 945. How are you liking them? How "forgiving" (for what they are) do you find them? The 945 is p*ss easy IMO and I don't feel you give up anything compared to an AP2 or similar. I do find some blades are a definite trade off. MPF is solid so I thought maybe they're sneaky forgiving. Anyways tell me about your experience!

Pretty forgiving in my opinion. I didn’t notice a difference between my blueprints compared to my previous sets (jpx 919 tour, apex mb, iblade). I absolutely love the look and the higher CG placement. Now if Wisconsin would open their golf courses.......

Can you compare ball flight to the 620 forged or Miura mb 101?

To me they are. Just not hard to hit. Period. From sole design to toe side miss. Lovely iron. I got one of the first sets made and have played them non stop since then.

I hit the ball very high. Unfortunately my demo set from GG will have stock 120 S300 in them. I love the more penetrating flight I get from the 945. The iBlade spun off the charts when I tried it. How are these in that regard?

I'm an ex blade player (0.9 HC). I've tested the Blueprints with DG 120 X-100's and found that they did fly a bit higher than I was used to seeing from similar setups. But they did feel fantastic and were pretty forgiving for a blade on strikes to the toe side of center. The only things I'd change (and this is just personal preference) is how square the pitching wedge is, and make them chrome. I would probably just go with 3-9. Other than that, I love the way they look and feel. They are small, but they move through the turf great and they look so good that they aren't scary. Another point about them being small, they got the weight right on these. You can feel where the head is. If I needed new irons they'd be my first choice despite the matte finish, and that's saying something for me. (mizuno mp player)

Bought a set from GG to try on course. Absolutely LOVED the looks. One of the prettiest iron sets ever made. Not intimidating at all. I did not love them though. I think they did themselves a disservice by forging them. They feel good, but they feel like pings and by forging them they’ve set the expectation that they’ll be buttery soft. I played them with a few of my 945 in the bag as well to do some comparisons on par 3s and the difference in feel/sound is jarring at best. To me, they feel very similar to the iBlades. Satisfying when nutted but if you’ve been playing a premium forging you will notice. I also can’t understand why they’re so much money. I can afford two sets of Srixons for the same price as one set of Blueprint. They’re good irons for sure and way more forgiving than they look. If you’re a better than average ball striker and find middle most of the time they could work very well for you if you like the ping feel. IMO however the firm feel isn’t like a Miura or something where it is dense and syrupy. It’s just ... Ping feeling. Only way to describe it.

I love the way they feel. I had a set of MC 501s last year and they feel almost the same when hit on the sweet spot. Also have a set of x forged 2018s, and the Blueprints feel better. Powerful and dense. These are great irons. I am an 8.6 and have not had one issue playing these.

This pretty much sums up how I felt about them when I tested them. Incredible looking irons that I wanted to love but just could not find the feel that I desired. I will admit, every time I see them it makes me want to give them another try, ha.

As I said, they feel good. But having hit multiple comparison back to back shots on par 3s pure out of the middle they are massively lacking in feel and feedback compared to my 945s. That's just my take. They're great irons, they just don't have the feel I want to game.

Everyone is different, but I think they feel great. Played every major OEM offering of blade in recent years as well as Miura and I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything by gaming the Ping's. Too many people on here get too hung up on "feel" rather than results IMO.

I own the 945s and the BPs.  Just put the BPs in the bag a few weeks ago.  I really like both sets, but will stick with the BPs because of how they look.  Slightly embarrassed to admit that but they look incredible.  I agree that they feel harder than the Srixons and Mizzys that I've played, esp on thin shots.  Center hits feel amazing.  They really aren't that hard to hit, especially if you're used to blades.  They aren't nearly as difficult as people say.  They have a much narrower sole than the 945s, but I haven't felt much difference getting through the turf.  I haven't measured spin on a simulator but I can attest they they do fly high.  I'm not a high ball hitter so I welcome the extra height.  And this is with shafts that are slightly heavier than I normally play.  Will probably sell my 945s to fund the BPs, which I never thought I'd do because I love the 945s.

Had mine for a month.  They are amazing for a blade.  Ping did a great job with these.
