2019 Titleist T100 irons

I am pleased to see the whole line has forged faces. Even to me, as a mid-cap, I could feel the difference in strikes between AP2 and AP3. This should equalize that variable.

T100 and T200 both felt great! That forged face makes a huge difference in feel.

Look great at address. Feel is very similar but better distance. My current 718 irons are 2 degrees strong and the T100 with same shaft at its stock loft was same distance and similar spin characteristics. I would also say if your an AP2 gamer then try the CB. Gives you that clean look. Very surprising forgiveness. Only reason I never tried it in the past but these seem very similar forgiveness to my current Ap2. Hit a few off the toe but wasn’t harsh and still flew. Only knock was that it was about 600rpms higher spin for me or else I would have pre-ordered these instead of the T100. Need less spin so T100 was the better fit for me

> > > >

> > > > Good to hear about the spin with T100's. I play AP2's 1 deg strong. Are you keeping the T100 standard or going to adjust it? I feel like AP2 I should have went 2 deg strong to bring launch and spin down more so thinking T100 1 degree strong will work out great.

> My current setup is AP2 with PX 6.5. During the fitting I hit that plus C Taper S+, PX 6.0, and DG S400. Lost a little speed due to back issue from 2 years ago but starting to get back to my normal swing. Based on my averages I would rank them C Taper, PX 6.0, PX 6.5, and DGs400. Similar spin with the C Taper and PX shafts with most spin from DG. C Taper was 4 yards longer with tighter dispersion.

My 718 AP2's have c-taper 130x in them (but just sold) and I have a set of Mizuno JPX 919 Tours with DG X7. Not much difference between the two but I think the X7 spin a touch more and are noticeably stiffer in the short irons. Going to sell the Mizuno and order T100's with c-taper 130x most likely. Just put a PX 6.5 in a 7 iron AP2 I have to test different shafts so going to give that a try this week. Also want to try out a hard stepped x100 and then kind of decide between those 3 shafts for the T100. x100's always spun too much. Wish I had an easy place to test things out my only real option is driving 1.5 hours and paying for CC which isn't convenient.

Yes. It’s a thin forged face. Not entire club head

You're correct. They are $175 MAP which is what most shops will have them selling for.

I hit them today they really look and feel awesome. I didn't get to spend much time with them but I did get some basic numbers vs T200 vs my Honma TW747V. To me its as expected a touch shorter but more spin, my TW747V are 2 degrees stronger in the 7 iron vs T100 so my distance was closer to the T200. I didn't have the best strikes so I will leave the reviews to the pro's but I really do like the look, feel and footprint of the T100's. I want to spend more time with them outdoors since I always hit off the mats terrible.

Thanks for the info! The 747v & T100 are the two irons I'm most interested in. I would love to hear more in terms of comparison feedback when you have the chance to hit them again.

I am curious... vs. the T200, how do you feel the 747v stacks up in terms of flight/height & distance?

Preorder date could be right. But I'm almost certain in store date is Aug 31. But what's a few days among Titleist friends ?

Could be true with in-store but the 26th is what I was told for custom orders.

What kind of combo sets are people looking to make with these? I'm trying to figure out whether to go with T200 4 iron or U500 4 iron. Problem is likely going to be the loft difference with the T200. Also trying to figure out a TS3 hybrid 19 deg or a U500 3 iron.

Same here. Nothing finalized on my end yet but so far the recommendation is T-100 (5-PW), T-200 (4 iron) & U500 (3 iron 20 degrees); Project X 6.0

What do you think about the likely 5 degree loft difference between the T100 5 iron and T200 4 iron? Assuming it will be the same as the AP's with 27 deg T100 5 iron and 22 deg T200 4 iron. The U500 3 iron is then 20 deg so only a 2 deg gap there then. I'm thinking about going T100 5-PW 1 or 2 deg strong to get my flight and spin down so might not have to worry about the 4 iron but then bend the U500 3 iron 1 deg strong.

That actually sounds like the best solution. I’m not a fan of the T-200 cosmetics, but performance trumps all. The gapping has to make sense and the way you laid it out, it does. I’d prefer to be close to standard lofts and hit T-100 4 through pitch with a four degree gap with U-500 (20-24). I have an 818 H1 19 as an option and SM7’s (50/55/60). Have you thought about getting the GW with your set?

I'm debating on a 19 deg TS3 hybrid to get along with the U500 3 iron and just swap them out depending on where I'm playing and what I would need. I have to get the T100's strong because my ball flight is too high. I play SM7's 50 and 54 both 1 deg strong and a 58 standard. And I agree with the T200's I don't like the badging but the performance of the 4 iron will be good so I don't care. Can always buy a 718 T-MB 4 iron as well instead of the T200 since I had one with my 718 AP2s that I really liked, just thinking I prefer the forged face of the T200.

I was fitted for the T100 a couple weeks ago (I think it was the first day the fitter was allowed to fit them) and can say they are beautiful in person. The pics on the first page look distorted compared to what I recall. They sound quite different than the AP2 and felt better on mis-hits. I forgot to snap the trackman data, but I recall carrying almost 170 with the 7 iron at ~85mph and around 95-100’ peak height (which struck me as high). It fell to ground like a feather. They seemed hot like p790. I was using PX LZ 6.0 shaft. I actually came to get fitted for Callaway but these won me over.

Cost was ~$184 per club for the PX LZ 6.0 and MCC+4 grips (back-figured from total cost with tax and fitting fee).

I can’t get over the looks on these... The T100 might be the first “AP2” I don’t end up owning at some point. After how beautiful the 718s were I don’t know how they came up with these...

You’re a bit more efficient than me.

92mph club head speed

123mph ball speed

1.33 smash

6200 spin

37 yards height

49 decent

172 carry
