> It's interesting, because I saw several (full) sets of T-MB's of amateurs playing in the Columbus US Open qualifier. And ANGC "marker" hero Jeff Knox also plays with a complete set of T-MB's. The T-MB's quickly found a home as long irons in the bags of even elite Tour players, so the basic architecture was proven. And some elite ams who seemingly wanted a bit of extra distance made use of the whole set. If Titleist is going to make eight or nine different sets of irons in 2020, you'd think that at least one of them would be a continuation of the T-MB hollow-body idea.

My guess is the T-MB either evolved into, or was displaced by, the two CNCPT iron sets.

There seems to be a quick uptake of the new models amongst most of the Titleist players on the PGA Tour.

Will be interested to see what the likes of Spieth, Webb and JT do?

The TS2 & TS3 drivers will still be for the majority of golfers out there, as for the irons, well they are down from six full sets after dropping the T-MB's. Although, from what I here there is a new T400 series of irons coming........so, back up to six!

I was just thinking the same thing. The back of the T300 looks the best to me. There's a lot going on back there with the T100 and T200.

As a die hard Titleist fan-boy, I'm overexcited deluxe after a visit to the local golf shop today.

By coincidence a Titleist rep was there. We started to talk and after a while he asked if I wanted to see what was in the trunk of his car. All new irons and hybrids! (No utilities though)

I promised not to give away any details about technology in them but I will just give you a short comment about them visually. Regarding shafts, the same stock shafts will apply as with 718 series. The only change he was aware of is that there will be a graphite stock option not only for T300 (as with AP1), but also for T200. Hybrids will have 80g Smoke shaft as stock shaft. (Really hope at least a 90g will be available!)

MB

This is without any doubt the best looking club I have ever seen. The satin is just perfect, and the small chrome effect on the muscle was way better looking in reality than in pictures. So clean with minimal top line and offset. Just drooling.

CB

From my point of view this is by far the best iteration of CB:s ever. From address it's ridicolous how much it looks like a blade.

T100

This was by far the best surprise in a long time. As a long time AP2 user of every model since 2008, T100 looked so much better in reality in than in the pictures. So clean, and the back is way more compact and discrete than I thought! More compact, smaller topline and less offset. Can the the forgiviness compare to AP2 718 this will for sure be my gamer.

A very interesting note regarding the topline. In 718 series AP2 and AP3 Titleist kind of "faked" a thin topline by having the satin only covering the half of the real topline. This is not the case for T100 and T200. The topline is not "faked", it's just thinner in reality. So T100 had a great topline, but T200 is significant (compared to T100) thicker. But still smaller than P790 for example.

T200

As with the other clubs it looks so much better in reality. Didn't have 718 series next to it to compare, but must be less offset than AP3. The rep was overexcited about it's performance, but we both agreed that it would still look so much better with the technology hidden.

T300

AP1 just gets smaller and smaller. A lot of forgiviness in a relative small package. I think this means a T400 is in the works.

TS2 hybrid

In the pictures I think the look was very look a like to 818 H1, but in reality I found it to be very different. Not in a bad way, but different. Maybe it wasn't as wide front to back? At least something diffrent like that. I liked it a lot.

TS3 hybrid

The look from adress is very special, almost strange. It's very obvious you're supposed to hit this hybrid with a step attack angle like an iron. I'm looking forward to try it, but I will for sure use an driving iron instead.

Interesting note on the hybrids is that they will have completely diffrent sound. TS2 will have a "woodish" sound to it while TS3 will have an iron sound to it.

As a bonus he had TS1 and TS4 drivers as well. Really looking forward to try TS4 driver, it's just gorgeus and fit's my eye perfect. Will I be handle to handle it? Probably not... :-)
