Thumbs down to that epoxied insert in the cavity.

Never understood why the CB was still in the lineup as long as they had the AP2. With the introduction of the T100 it is obvious. The CB are good looking and the T100 quite ugly..

I wonder if the slight hump in the back of the short irons is Titleist way to distribute weight higher in the club.

Beautiful shape to these. The short irons look incredibly compact too.

A question for Greg....

Is the gray strip with “CB” on the toe-end an insert? Or are these a solid forging?

Thanks for the great pictures!

These look sharp, but I wish the top line transitioned gradually rather than go from rounded on the 8 iron to flat and square on the 7 iron immediately.

I couldn't put my finger on what looked a little off to me but you nailed it. I'm going to be in the market for new irons later this year and thought these were going to be the end of my search when I heard they were coming out. Maybe it won't be so jarring in person

Superb!! My only issue is the loft being stamped on the bottom of the PW. I think that I would want that cranked down to 46 if I was being fit and having it marked as 47 would drive me mad.

Love the way these look. But unfortunately don't know if I have the skills to game these.

Just can't get behind the look on these. From address, the 3-7 look great, the 9-8-P look weird and bulbous. The back of the iron gives the zero bag appeal in my eyes. I do bet they perform really well, but there's nothing here that's going to move me away from Mizuno's

Normally I prefer a classic chrome finish and I don't like the way the cavity has evolved, its seems too cluttered just keep it clean and simple. The top line area on the short irons does look a little weird at first. They remind me a little of the JPX919 Tour, I think its the cavity area that does that.

Despite my comments I have to say these are really starting to grow on me, my initial reaction was harsh.

> They look good to me. I’d love to see them in the flesh though, to check on the offset. All the shots ‘over the ball’ are cantered to the right. Has me thinking they are trying to hide the fact there is more offset than some of us might like.

Titleist used to have a matrix of all the specification data for CBs on their site but it appears they stopped putting offset (bounce as well) data on there from 714 onwards. You can still see the data for 712 and 710.
