I signed up on Twitter for the drawing. Total dumb luck…

I got one too signing up through Instagram.  It’s not really my style of putter so I will prob end up flipping it. It will take some self control to not hit a putt or two with it. I’m mostly interested to see if it’s a preview of what the new Toulons will be.

That GOAT design is a proto, looks very different from the end version. Here’s mine from the top, basically identical to Tigers.

Yeah. That's what I thought too. Small batch release is a tri-sole San Diego. I thought about it for a bit, but 1k (I think that's the price for it) is too much for me to sit in my collection.

Looks pretty similar to me? 🤷‍♂️ I’m curious what differences in shape you see. 
 

Biggest difference is the face milling. Text is different too I guess (better looking IMO). Looks a lot more high end.

Huge differences to my eye. The Proto is much softer all over including the neck, wider cavity (see how the neck lines up with the heel shoulder on the Proto?), lines on shoulders and bumpers much closer. To me it's just so much better looking than the Small Batch. It's not even close. The Proto is beautiful, I would probably give 1k for that.

 

Maybe Sean Toulon will read this and sell me one. Haha

I was lucky enough to get my hands on this beauty a few months back and love it. I have quite a few Toulons and love how they look and feel but this is the best feeling one of them all. Anyone who got their hands on a Santa Monica won’t be disappointed.

I like the Santa Monica more than the proto. I don’t care for the wide cavity matching the width of the shoulders on the Proto. I like the cavity to be about the width of the ball. Just a slight design tweak on the SM. They both look great but from address the more narrow cavity is a subtle difference that wins for me.

Mine will arrive to my PNW home today but we are still in Orange County :-(. I could have just picked it up in CA. Damn! Looks great and I hope it has nice audible feedback. Not a fan of the softer sounding/feel of stock Toulon. With the shallower milling I hope it has a firmer feel! Bought to flip but wow, may just be another keeper.

Love the feel/sound of mine.  Just been putting on an indoor green so far.   I pulled the stock shaft to keep the grip and shaft band in perfect condition should I decide to sell it.  Face milling is PERFECT.

 

The custom micro headcover is awesome.

Just got to my PNW home (where Odyssey sent it) and opened the box...WOW! what a beautiful presentation. Certificate, Head cover, grip, box, all first class!  I have been thru a few gallery Scottys and this is every bit a CircleT. I was going to flip it but after feeling it. I will carefully play a few holes and see how it feels and performs against my SC 2021 5.5, Slighter Tri-Sole and MY Gold standard, the 50th Anniversary Anser...

I really regret flipping mine… glad to see most people keeping them here. If it had a top line or flange line I would have probably kept it.

Mine came in too. Keeping it in the collection! I've seen a lot of putters, and this putter really does feel solid and responsive.
