Wow, this thread got exciting while I was away!

1. It is true Shanker put tracking in my PayPal transaction. But not when he said he did, and the status was not accurate. Seemed like desperation after the fact.

2. Just a bit ago the tracking updated, and apparently USPS had something in their possession that is coming to me. Can't wait to see what it is!

3. Not accurate to say WRX doesn't care about members. Mods have reached out to me to inquire and follow up, I actually feel pretty supported.

4. Big thanks to my brother chocolate, for pushing the issue.

5. That other thread is unbelievable.

6. So, he's banned? How will we know if he just creates a new profile?

Unfortunately, it's not over for me. Apparently my refund bounced. Hoping it goes through the second time, otherwise I will be escalating. Thankfully I did not drop my dispute and will not do so until I actually have the money returned.

Sorry to hear this. Unfortunately this is 1000% proof positive that this guy is a scammer.

 

Out and out fraud. Should be able to prosecute a POS like this. Since you have his name and address, get the authorities in his town involved if PayPal cant get your money back. Good chance he's probably ripped off a bunch of other people too.

Um, El Skanker cleared that up early in this thread. “If I was trying to steal anyone’s money, I wouldn’t put my real name and address on items.” So don’t threaten or do anything stupid. He’s clearly not a scammer, he said so himself. It’s the assistant’s fault.

 

On a side note, I am currently taking applications for a club hoing assistant. Duties will include packaging up clubs and taking to the post office. That’s all, you really don’t need to have any organizational skills whatsoever. Just throw clubs in boxes and slap labels on them.

Update, my driver head has arrived. Couple cosmetic issues were not described but overall I am satisfied.

I emailed him about the bounced refund and he said paypal used an old bank account.

He said he'd call them to rectify it for when they put it through again, fingers crossed he does the right thing. He's had my $400 long enough, it's time for him to give it back.

I will say that I had a positive experience with el Shanker about a year ago. Not clearing him of any aforementioned issues, just saying that he is not a pure scammer
