They are up on the site. Looks like one grind option is available. If this is the case. FAIL!

Since an all black one came out as well, I wonder if the black can be stripped like a Vokey, and the full wedge rust that way?

All black looks great! That said I’m disappointed in the raw not being all over. Stock shaft is also garbage, considering Missy and Cleveland both put the S400 TI stock in this year. I’ll have to give these a try

I do see the different bounces. And a stock grind ... just one grind with different bounces it seems. Still a FAIL. They say how easy it is to replicate the tour grinds with their milled tech but yet can’t offer it. Hopefully they release more grinds. I think the rusting face is cool.

I don't think this is accurate. The LB and the SB are different grinds, just as before. But the High Bounce grind on the original Milled Grind line is now gone.

I was hoping to see TM really challenge Vokey with the available grind options. To me if you are going stock, Vokey still is King because of all the grind options available. I was hoping TM would release the TW grind, Rory, DJ, Day grinds. That would have been really cool to see and experiment with. Wedges have grown on me. They look really good. Really like the raw face. But lack of options compared to Vokey is where I always think they miss the boat.

Not disagreeing with you. I'd love to see a bunch of grind options in the TaylorMade line, but at some point you just confuse the consumer. I think Vokey can get away with it because of their market share. Another OEM that's trying to gain share, however, might not be able to justify the SKU explosion. Would 5 or 6 different different grinds actually result in more sales, or do a couple of classic grinds--playable by most buyers--offer the best compromise?

Yes, the LB is a C Grind. It's nearly identical to the previous LB grind.

It's just the area with the grooves that will rust, as that's the only portion covered by the sticker. The toe and heel portions of the face will not rust.

Vokey and other OEMs have been using (mostly) DG S200 as their "Wedge" flex shaft for years. It's literally the standard stock shaft for wedges. I don't see how that's a negative.

Does the face on the black finish rust as well? The pictures are different between the Satin Chrome and the Black on the site.

One size fits all doesn’t work in any club. That’s not any different in the scoring clubs. This is why I personally hoped Cleveland bucking the trend with a legit stock shaft would push the other manufacturers to step up their game.

    • APPLY NOW: L.A.B. Golf MEZZ.1 Putter (Early Access) Member Testing! 10 Testers Needed!
L.A.B. Golf is choosing ten GolfWRX members to receive their MEZZ.1 putter early and put their brand new product to the test before reporting back to the community about what they see. The selected testers will be one of the first to experience the MEZZ.1 from L.A.B. GOLF, their newest Lie Angle Balanced design, ahead of it's January 2022 launch!

About The L.A.B. Golf Mezz.1 Putter
MEZZ.1 is our new mid-mallet putter that’s fully CNC machined from a billet of 6061 aircraft aluminum (body) and 303 stainless steel (midsection) to create our best-feeling — and we think best looking — putter to date. It includes 10 weights (eight on the bottom, two on the sides) that allow us to individually build each putter to a golfer’s exact specifications.

      How To Apply
In a post below, answer the following questions.

      1. City, State?
      2. Handicap?
      3. What is your current putter?
      4. Have you ever used a L.A.B. Golf putter?
      5. Why do you want to review the MEAZZ.1 putter?
      6. Do you agree to participate in an ongoing testing thread, posting reviews and photos?

That's it! @labgolf and GolfWRX will choose the testers in about 2 weeks! This testing event is for good-standing members in the USA only!
