Part of the reason I believe that Pritzker hasn't announced an extension of the SAH order, which is coming very soon and possibly even today, is that there are going to be a number of carve outs to start the economy back on a better path. Barber shops/salons will probably open with a requirement of stylists to wear PPE and no more than X in a shop at anytime based on the size. Also think golf courses will open with some of the requirements that we've seen other states follow like extended tee times, online pay only, raised cups, no pins, no rakes, etc. It's also possible that some of the counties down south could be "re-opened" based on a lesser number of cases.

The good part of flattening the curve is saving lives, but it does push out the peak of when we'll start to be on the backside of things.

I love the game, but man, I would take reopening barber shops come May 1 before any golf course. I have very thick hair and it needs a cut. It has been driving me nuts the past few days. In these times, pays to be bald.

... The problem with this is. it opens the door for anyone that truly believes whatever has relevance to them, they can follow the same path. Tattoo parlor? Massage parlor? Own a restaurant or a bar and need customers back? When the rules are put in place for the safety of everyone, you have to follow them or they don't work and everyone suffers for your selfishness. I disagree with Ill golf courses being closed so I have written to JB with a request to open golf courses, signed petitions and back the CDGA. But until they open officially, I would never "cross the picket line" and play.

I really hope so. I haven't seen that but I think that makes so much sense. You can currently book 4s online though. 2somes to me are much safer than 4s. Less likely being paired with randoms - this was/is my biggest concern. I believe playing as 2s, walking only and spaced out tee times will cut down on a lot of drunken bro shenanigans that causes problem even outside of a pandemic.

That is not exactly true. We've had a host of starting QB's in GB since '92. Just not good enough to start for us: Ty Detmer, Mark Brunell, Matt Hasselbeck and Aaron Brooks.

... Picking a college QB to play in the NFL is a challenge at best. I played QB from 2nd grade thru my jr year in college, where I was a back up. Our starter went on to play for the Giants. He asked me how much harder it was to play QB in college was than high school and I said 10 times harder and he agreed. He asked how much harder to play in the NFL vs college and I said double that, 20 times harder. He 100 times harder. Throws he had made his entire life could be picks in the NFL. DB's bait you into throws, coverages are disguised and so much harder to read and of course the rush is much more intense and everything is so much faster.

... There is just no way to predict how a college QB will handle things mentally when they fail. Will they turn into Peyton Manning or Blaine Gabbert after a really bad rookie year? So it is an educated guess at best and then just hoping you made the right choice. I will say of all the QB;s available this year, and Burrows was clearly the safest, I think Love has the most upside. He could be a bust like most first round picks at QB, but if he comes even close to his ceiling, GB will have another Franchise starter for the next 15 years.

Love has upside, but he’s not a generational qb by anyone’s view. They could’ve waited for the next “Love-upside” pick in 2021 or beyond. Your list reinforces the decision as a poor one.

He’s not going to be able to show anything until his rookie contract is almost up, making the decision to pick up his option a more difficult one, yes/no?

... You should know better than most, a franchise QB in the NFL is essential to winning a SB. I think if you have the chance at a QB with all the tools necessary (which is rare) and in the interview process you think he has the mental ability to succeed you have to take that chance. While Burrows is no doubt in the best position to be a safe starter with plenty of upside, he isn't a Patrick Mahomes. And of course nobody is, but Love has many of the same tools and ability. The Bears just spent a ton of money for Foles and have to decide if they want to exercise Trubisky's rookie contract after an open competition, so a ton of cash tied up in those two but I would take Love without hesitation if I had the chance. Hitting on a franchise QB, like GB has done not once but twice while the Bears have failed over 30 times in the same time period, is something I think every NFL has to take a chance on IF they think there is that kind of potential. And yea, the odds are against you but it is too important not to take the chance. Arguably, if Rodgers were on the Bears the last two seasons Chicago would have 2 SB rings. So I hate the pick as a Bears fan, but would love the pick as a GB fan. Obviously ymmv's
