I guess it’s kinda like your first time riding a bike without training wheels. That bit of extra forgiveness is comforting.

That was my impression. I’m think MMC 3-6 and MB for the rest. Sound right?

I went 3-6 HMB and 7-P MP-20 because 7i is where I feel comfortable hitting a bladed iron over forced carries, YMMV ??

This has been asked but not answered -- for those of you who have pre-ordered, who did you pre-order through? I thought the official pre-order date wasn't until the middle of September.

Anyone interested in preordering through a reputable retailer can PM me. I’ve bought a ton of stuff from them over the years and they are great on price.

It sounds like Mizuno shipped the demo heads today, so everyone should be able to hit these by the end of the week.

Mizuno rep was at my course today. I hit all three versions. Was told that the mmc and hmb have the same loft / gapping. If you do a combo set with the blades, there is a two degree difference club to club. He suggested that the shortest hmb/mmc come one degree weak and the longest blade come one degree stronger than normal.

I liked all three versions. The longer hmb irons were particularly good. I was a little surprised with the top line of the blades and the overall shape of the wedge (and other short irons). Seemed strangely thick. The overall appearance of the pitching wedge seemed “Asian” like. Somewhat similar to a Miura 501 shape.

I am going to stick with my PXG’s. However, these are a real contender.

Has anyone got the updated list of shaft options from Mizuno handy that they could post? I can't seem to track down the list with added upcharge options.

I wonder if they're only offering the black version of the $ Taper or if the chrome will also be available.

How does the blade feel compare to pxgs? Distance?
