I have been playing the AP2 for years and I am about to order a set of these on Thursday. I am so excited to get these irons.

I’ve got 5-P and think I’ll add a 4i. Also have 7-p in MP20 so I can blend any time I’m feeling I want to do so.

Now I’m just waiting to heal from a car accident so I can try everything out.

Really? I did not know this. Ordered my MP20s custom through my club. I think I want to go back to regular dynamic gold s300, I had the dg 120s installed. There is just something off with the feel.

I'm going to get one of the putters, but yeah, I'd prefer it at 35". I believe you can custom order.

Yes, it's a great deal. My HMB's went back for stiffer shafts and as mentioned, $20 per club including the grip. You do have to pop for shipping, but it's still a great deal. I would imagine it works for any Mizuno iron, new or old.

Anyone know what the bore size is for a 2iron? Trying to see if a Tensei Pro White will fit in it.

I just got a set of 2-7 HMB and 8-P blades and after one round I am very impressed. Need to figure out some distances with the HMB’s but all in all I like.

has anyone experienced flyer balls with the HMB?

i went with modus 105s coming from s300 for last 10 years and Im pretty sure I have to go back to dg s300. I’m just over swinging the shit out of these...tons of spin and actually lost some distance.

I had these bent to standard mp20 mb lofts....having them bent back to hmb lofts as well.

would love for mizuno to directly take care of this , especially if the cost is right! Thanks in advance

Just got my set in today, not sure when I will be able to hit them outside but thinking of getting in sim weds. First set of Mizuno irons since MP32, which didn’t last for me. First impressions are they are really good looking. So much more nuance in the head and hosel than my P790, which I also like the looks of. The Mizuno look crafted while the TM look powerful. I am hoping the on course performance will match the looks, so hard to get a feel from a fitting set 7 iron. Started getting some chemistry with the TM’s, but the HMB’s just had me too curious.

Can someone combine the MP20 HMB with the jpx919 forged irons?

Finally got a range session and a full round with the HMB’s, while I was impressed I do not think they edge out the P790. I wanted them to for whatever reason, but the P790 just seem to work better for me once I replaced the gap wedge with a Vokey. The HMB is probably not a direct comparison to the TM’s so that might be my fault. The leading edge of the HMB was very sharp for my swing and I often dig quite a bit. Feel was pretty good but didn’t wow me, looks were great. They are plenty forgiving for an MP series, but I do not think they edge out the P790. You notice mis hits more and can also shape shots better with the MP obviously. Hope this helps anyone searching, a better comparison would have been in the JPX line no doubt but the HMB just looked so sweet.

I have not played a round with them this year yet so I am not sure. I have only hit these on Trackman and my distances are up compared to my AP2's... mainly because of the degrees of the clubs though. I think were I will have the most trouble is with my wedges. I will definitely need to bend my 50* a little stronger.

By any chance do you have experience with the 900 hot metals vs the 919 Hot metals. I want a new jump and find myself between the HMBs and the Hot metal 919.

I also have a set of HM 919s. I usually put the HM 919 4-5 iron along with the HMB 6-PW in the bag. The HM 919 is the best game improvement iron ive ever used. Very forgiving, smaller than most GI irons and great feel. Not as good as HMB but more forgiving, especially in the long irons. Cant go wrong with either set IMO.

Just re-read your question and realized I didn't address it at all. I researched the 900 vs 919 a bit before purchasing the 919s. I don't believe there is much difference between the 2. I think the 919s look better in the bag and was able to find a pretty good deal on them so I went with the 919s. I think if you read up on reviews you'll find there is not a lot of difference performance wish between the 2.
