Some people definitely do act totally irresponsible intoxicated. I will not rule out the possibility that it was a few Aalborgs too much that got his juices going. The pills explanation seems more probable, though.

That headline is rubbish. TO didn't apologize for anything other than the fact that his fellow Danes haven't been able to watch him golf. Then it went into a sob story about how he hasn't been able to play much golf. Poor cat.

Just to clarify, your issue is with the headline as opposed to Olsen? What would you expect from Olsen beyond that? At this moment in time, he is taking the case to Trial. His position (whether it turns out to be right or wrong) is that he is not guilty. In those circumstances, would you expect him to go further than he did in his comments? Surely if he did, that would be completely contradictory to his position.

Correct. The headIine is terrible. I wouldn't expect TO to say anything that could be construed as an admission of guilt. Though it is a bit surprising that he didn't emphatically deny the charges, let alone proclaim innocence.

i'm going to assume the accusation of urinating in the aisle could not be fabricated as there would be witnesses & evidence, so i don't know how or why he would act as if he's innocent of that charge ... at the very least, he could just claim he's not a very accurate golfer and completely missed the fairway/green with his urine ...
