Titleist: Scotty Monterey 1.5, SM7 wedges, new 620 CBs, and then IMO the surefit customization with the woods would dial everything in just a bit better for me than for Ping, even though my old Redwood & iE1s or iBlades with some stealth Glides & G410 woods would give them a close run for the money. Would probably be happy with any of the big 4 TBH. I wish they would run some deals if you're willing to rock a full setup!

@gwelfgulfer Will be pulling teeth for some, but given that SC and Vokey could easily be doing what they are doing without Titleist (who is really a ball company who happens to make some clubs and stamp their name on others) as no one actually say they play a "Titleist putter' or 'Titleist wedges'. I'd go full Ping bag.

That comment really cuts to the quick but, I think you may be correct sir. Ping is my choice. I would sleep with my G400max if she asked me. I do love my 913Fd 5w though.

For me, this is an easy Miura all the way. They have amazing irons and wedges, both of which I play already. Their putters are also top notch, and come in enough standard shapes that any golfer could find something that works. I've heard great things about their drivers, though I've never actually hit one. Not a ton of feedback on their fairways, but I'd imagine they do just fine there as well.

This one seems pretty easy assuming cost is not a factor.

I haven't taken the time to read through the entire thread, however I would have to assume that Ping is a front runner. Ping has always had a decent putter and iron lineup, but, they have really come on strong lately with fairway woods, hybrids, drivers and even wedges. I believe I could easily carry 14 Ping clubs including the bag and be happy.

For me it's Callaway. It started with their drivers and fairways. I had beeen playing Adams a12 Pro black for a number of years before going to Callaway through the bag. Isn't the first time though.

Years ago I think I was all Callaway for a bit with X18 pro irons. I just really like their products. From the Callaway Drivers down to the Odyssey putters, they just perform for me.

Probably Titleist for me, or maybe at a push TaylorMade. Titleist aren't the most imaginative choice, but their offerings are just solid all the way through the bag. I've also started using the Tour Soft and AVX more and more recently, so I'd be well catered for balls too. I'd probably go:

TS4 or my 917 D3

917 F3

818H2 / T100 3 iron

620 MB 4 - PW

SM7 50, 54 and 58

Scotty Del Mar California

The Dee Three - Titleist TS4 9.5 deg, EvenFlow White 6.5 65g, A1 Setting

Henrik - Titleist 917 F3 15 deg, Rogue Max 75x, B2 Setting

The Walking Stick - Titleist 818 H2 19 deg, Rogue Max 85x, B2 Setting

The Interloper - TaylorMade P770 3 iron, S400 Tour Issue, +0.5inch +1 deg loft

The Blades - Nike VR Pro 4 - AW, S400 Tour Issue, +0.5 inch

The Sand Iron - TaylorMade MG2 TW-12 Grind, 56 degree, S400 Tour Issue

The Flopper - TaylorMade MG2 TW-11 Grind, 60 Degree, S400 Tour Issue

The Putter - Nike Method 003 from The Oven

Ping. Respectable, playable in all categories, strong tour presence. (It's important.) There's a Ping model, new or old, made for everyone.

Unless you’re getting paid by one of them why limit yourself? Fun discussion but highly unlikely that one OEM truly has the best of everything for your game.

All four of the major players discussed haves upped their lineups top to bottom and could likely fit anyone on this thread in the whole bag. Confidence in the bag setup is as much about the emotional attachment to the look/feel/sound and belief in the name on the bottom of the club. Not that I’d go single vendor but could see a complete Titleist bag with the new TS series and 620 CB plus SM7 and a Scotty.

This coming from a guy with TM woods, mizuno irons, vokey wedges and Ping putter.

I'd find it difficult to look past TM, I prefer their driver offerings and I can work around everything else. But I'd also look at Ping as I've liked their last 4 drivers and I've always got on with their irons wedges and putters.

I do have a full Nike setup, with the Covert driver and 5 wood and a Method Matter M5|12 putter to add to the rest of the Nike stuff in my signature and I have the VRS Tour bag and I wear their shoes. So that's obviously a choice I've made, but since, alas, Nike are no longer in the club game I couldn't go with that here.

I noticed people putting in specific club choices per brand. In this order I would go:

* Titleist:

TS3 Driver

TS2 Fairway

MB Irons

Whatever latest Vokey

Scotty Newport 2

* PING:

G410 Driver / Fairway

Blueprint Irons

Stealth wedges

My current putter (Vault 2.0 Voss in black)

* TM:

Mwhateverfitsmebetter driver/fairway (

P7TW

MG / Hi toe combo

TP Soto

* Cally

Only one option in the woods

Apex MB

MD Forged PM Grind

Toulon (as they're owned by Odyssey) San Diego

Only one I would actually use is Titleist. Any other manufacturor I've not hit so can't comment.

As a lefty I have a little less choices. Ping & PXG would be the front runners followed by Titleist & Callaway. Cobra would be right there if they made putters. Taylormade lags behind now days. Mizuno, Srixon & Wilson would leave too many gaps - there is just not enough options. That being said I'm a couple clubs away from an all Callaway bag, but they are ordered & on the way.

Driver: Callaway Rogue STMaxLS 10.5 Degree

5 Wood: Cobra LTDxLS @ 17.5 Degree

Hybrid: Cobra King OS 3-4 Hybrid @ 20.5 Degree

Hybrid: Cobra Aerojet @ 24 Degree

Irons: Taylormade 2021 P790's 5-AW

Wedge: Taylormade MG3 54 Degree

Wedge: Callaway Sureout 2 @ 60 degree

Putter: PXG Closer

If you could exclude the putter then i think the new offerings from Mizuno and Cobra would have to be a good chance at no.1. With putter I think Titleist, closely followed by Ping. But as some have commented, very few would ever do this.

My setup: TItleist D & 3W (VG3 Japan model), Ping i25 hybird, Mizuno MP69 (4-PW), Cleveland (52, 56, 60) Matsuyama forged wedges, old Ping putter (the one with blue face insert).

If anyone wants to sponsor this experiment, I'm sure I could shoot just as poorly as I do now with whatever single brand set-up you give me. I think you can make a really good set from any manufacturer. I bet with a properly fit Cleveland set-up I would shoot within a stroke or two of any other single manufacturer set-up.

Okay with that being said, I think I would go with:

Ping > Titleist > Cobra (I've seen some sweet custom milled putters from them) > Callaway > Mizuno > Cleveland/Srixon > Adams

I left out Miura, PXG, and other brands I couldn't afford to do an entire set of.

If I had just won a contest and the prize was a full bag from one manufacturer I would choose Titleist because it would come with a Scotty Cameron putter. Most of the other brands do not have custom milled putters as part of their club lineup. Otherwise if I had to purchase the clubs myself I would just pick and choose odds and ends off of ebay to make up my bag.

there are plenty of companies I could probably figure out a way to do this with but Titleist makes great clubs top to bottom. the biggest issue for me would be putter and wedges. I'm pretty loyal to vokey and scotty.

For me it would be Ping. They can fit the entire spectrum of players now especially with the new forged iron. The only other one I would consider would be Callaway.
