Here’s my opinion on the raw face w black finish, not that it matters. The face will be inevitably scratched up from practice and normal wear. I think having the raw face is gonna cover up some of the ugliness of a typical black head.

 

Now I could be way off base and it’s the most awful looking thing ever when it happens but I’ll just have to live with my mistake haha.

I played two rounds with the 52, 56 MG2 and 60 big foot in the bag this weekend. I was most impressed by the big foot. It almost felt like cheating to me. I used it for everything around the green except bunker shots.

Lol ive said exactly the same thing! The Bigfoot is cheating.... you can pull off any shot easily. im not the best bunker player but I even use it out of there and its helped so much.

I’ve got 50 and 56 in MG2 and 60 in HT... I used to have RTX3.0 at 50,54,58. The MG2 and HT are awesome especially the HT out of the bunkers. However.... anyone else notice a loss of distance with the 50? It seems way shorter than my RTX 50 that I used? Not doing anything different either? Cheers.

Anybody know if using vinegar or CLR with the black finish effect the tpu insert?? I wanna grab a black set and have them completely raw, just worry that the insert will be damaged by any of the compounds????

I have the 50,52 MG2 in black along with the 58* Bigfoot. Very nice set up. My Black MG2's have not rusted at all. I've he'd them since the release. I was going to try the vinegar thing but Chris Trott from TM said not to do that, let them rust naturally . The Bigfoot is just so easy to hit!

Excited to hear all the good things about the big foot. I fell in love quickly after watching all the positive reviews on YouTube but, their professional Youtubers. Glad to hear that WRXers are having just as easy as time. I’m a 7.2 HC that hits my PM grind wedges just lovely in the hard pan of summer. When soft spring and winter conditions arise I flop much like my shots. I should just chip with an eight iron or nine iron so my PM 58,54 don’t dig so much but I never practice those. Well i use those often when there is plenty of green but i often short side myself flag hunting and need high and soft chips. Hoping the big foot helps me with this. Thanks guys.

I can open it no problem. The bunkers yesterday were even hard packed and it still worked great with an open face.

Hmm, I never new Trottie advises against it! Unknown they will rust with time but I’d rather have it all over lol, I may even just wrap a towel in clr and use it on spots surrounding the tech.

I've been trying to find a good wedge that works well in the extremely soft conditions here in the Portland, OR area. Originally had a couple of PXG weges but I couldn't justify the price. I now have a couple MG2 wedges that have worked well for me this winter. I have 56.12 and 60.10, I absolutely love them and the TPU insert is a nice additional.

Love this big foot soooo much so far. The rain and cold are killing me. I’ve had it for 4 weeks and only got to give it a go once on a soaked practice area. But it did exactly what I was hoping to accomplish. Of course I waited to buy it. We had the mildest Nov/Dec o can remember. Played on Xmas eve. As soon as I buy it, so much rain or cold has kept me away.
