Fair point - it's pretty much inline with Kang's personality really, which is one of the reasons I like her. Maybe a "soft" trash talk lol. Media probably made too much of it.

Bronte Law is about to go postal I think... two lipouts in two holes.

I assume your first comment about the weather, has lots to do with your second comment about slow play.

As I'm watching live here in my warm house I'm even feeling chilly looking at the players and crowd. I'd better get another coffee, lol.

Agreed, love DK's style. She say's what's on her mind, which in today's "sensitive era" I applaud her for not being afraid to do so. Also love Bronte's fire and passion, she need's to learn how to forget the previous shots and learn how to simply "take souls". lol

Pace of play was atrocious. My DVR managed to start recording with the first fourball group on the 2nd hole. The broadcast ended at the six hour mark. The 4th match started 30 minutes after the first, so I put the matches at ~5:30 to 5:45. Sheesh.

Wow, Aza and Charley are dusting Danielle and Megan in the morning foursomes, 6 up through 11. Edit: DK and MK win the 12th and 13th to possibly get themselves back into it.

Jessica and Nelly continue to roll.

I am really in awe at all the cold weather accessories which the American ladies are using and must commend whoever planned whatever was needed in anticipation of the weather in Scotland..

now i'm curious how much it cost to outfit each player and I'm guessing it must be at least $20000(retail) per player including matching golf bags, umbrellas, shoes, apparel and cold weather stuff..

..and these should include not only for the tournament proper but including the practice days and those given to their respective partners/families who are entitled to receive such goodies...

Gotta admit I'm loving watching it.

Despite any PoP "issues", it seems I'm seeing a lot of shots, especially given there's only 16 players on the course at most.

Really fun to watch the pros deal with such challenging conditions. I love golf in the wind - fun to try to figure out what to do. I also love match play and watching fourballs. It's a refreshing change.

I assume you make this comment because watching the US vs Europe excludes so many of the best players in the world, most notably S Korea. The irony of your comment is that if you can't stand watching anything but the VERY best in the world, why do you watch the LPGA?

Love these conditions. Windy, cold and a bit of rain. Pace of play is a direct result of playing for your country and the conditions.

_______________

Is the wind sufficiently robust that it drowns out Lexi shouting "fore"? Or was it a marshall standing in her proximity and Lexi failing not to give the verbal warning?

She didn’t shout just stuck her arm out and everyone could see it was going in the direction of people so a marshall shouted . Her response was “It’s not that bad”. Complete strop.

I just saw a clip of it! ?? I can understand both perspectives. There were not many spectators down by the green ... and Lexi's 2-iron tee shot didn't stray too far, but there were people in that immediate vicinity and the marshall rightly erred on the side of caution.

Just noticed that both the LPGA's leaderboard and the Solheim Cup's website refer to matches as "All Square" still.

Seems like the new terminology didn't catch on....

Yep. I don’t understand that. Why not ride that as far as it goes ? Was a gamble doing that. Looks ok now. But could have easily been huge mistake.
