What clubs in your bag ARE safe?

Rogue Sub Zero driver with Ventus 6X shaft. M6 5-GW, Accra 80i shafts, Cleveland CBX 54 & 60 wedges with Accra 80i shafts, Evenroll ER1.2.

Still not confident with the TM M5 3W, cannot hit it off the deck like I could with the Ping G30.

And TEE CBX hybrids are safe, but keep wanting to tinker with lofts and shafts (have a 19 degree coming to test instead of the 20).

Nothing feels safe right now. I just changed a bunch of sh*t after consistently shooting in the 70s and now I feel like a wreck. Also might buy an arm lock again because my putting has gone to sh*t. Not that I can't putt, but I'm not making longer clutch putts right now. Something about my irons doesn't feel right and also going back to my old driver shaft.

Nothing's safe! My Pro Spider center shaft putter, F9 FW woods, OS hybrids so far. Irons are my biggest headache ever. I have Ping G, CF16, Mizuno EZ, M4's, Nike forged; and Cally OS in the bag right now.

My 21* Titleist 816 hybrid. Its seen 2 drivers, 3 sets of irons and 3 putters in the last 2 years. Pretty much automatic with it. Just feels fantastic with the Mitsubishi Diamana 90+

Pretty much all of them currently. Sure I’m off to try a Scotty today but I’ve putted lights out with my anser, my vokeys are safe, driver is safe, hybrid is 14 years old yet still in the bag, 5 wood is safe.

 

The only question mark is my irons as they’re coming up on 6 years in the bag. I’m wondering if I’m leaving something on the table.

The Vapors and the Phantom X 8 are pretty safe. There really aren't any irons I'm interested in really trying at this point - they check off all the boxes of performance, feel and looks. The Phantom is such an incredible departure from literally every putter I've ever played and to be honest, I didn't expect to like it as much as I do. Doesn't hurt that the first three putts with it rolled in.

 

I'm pretty well set with my TS woods. They've survived quite a few purges this year. Like the Vapors; they check off all boxen.

 

So probably the only thing that may go out would be the TM MG wedges - but it doesn't seem likely. They've been performing great for me ever since I picked them up so I got no plans to swap 'em out.

Putter (Odyssey Tri-Ball SRT) is the safest club in the bag. Epic Flash Sub Zero driver is not far behind, though I'll probably do some shaft experimentation this offseason. Irons are pretty safe as well, though I may also toy with shafts for them.

 

Have new fairway woods (also EFSZ) on order, so the fairway woods are definitely NOT safe. Wedges are getting a bit worn, I'm not seeing the kind of spin I think I should, so I may need to replace those soon.

As my putter has been constantly switched out this year, I wish I could find something as successful as you...

I think having so many putters is my downfall...always thinking another would be better, when I should just stick to one putter and one grip style...

Most of my bag is set/safe. TEE XCG7 Beta hybrid, U85, 565 irons, Cleveland and Vokey wedges. OO mini driver is safe in either a primary or back-up role. Only working on a rotating 5 wood, and rotating putter. This is the most comfortable/fun selection of clubs that I have ever had!

Totally safe: GW , SW & 4i - These clubs are staples and I really like them.

Marginally safe: Driver and LW - Clubs perform well for what I need but there might be certain times I question them.

Indifferent: 5-PW - Could see myself going to the new 790's next year but it would have to be a killer deal.

On the fence: Hybrid/Driving iron, putter - I can't decide if the hybrid or driving iron is best. Putter always suspect.

Not safe: 3w (in fact, It's getting replaced by a 2016 M1 next week) - The LTD is out. Launches too low. 2016 M1 incoming.

right now the Hogan Apex Plus irons are safe. The Ping Scottsdale is safe (for now). Nothing else is ever safe and my hybrid is just in the bag until I decide on it's replacement... it was a cheap Gap filler, no pun intended.

Safest are Fourteen mt28v3 wedges. They have been in bag several years. I know exactly how to use them and dread the day the grooves are just too worn to play.

 

I am only a bad bad bad ho with irons. But yep I’m really bad with them.

Most of my bag is safe but for wedges. I may be adding either Cleveland RTX4 wedges or Vokeys in the near future. Not that the Mizunos have been bad, but they're getting to that point in their life where replacement may be wise.

My Rory McIlroy Scotty Cameron. It's been in my bag since it bought it last June. It's the only club that's been safe. However, my SM2s are safe. My CB-501s have the new 790s coming after their spot so those might be in danger!
