I still play them but, I have been playing the S tapers lately.. I am not sure I am a fan of those... The spin too much.

I see. These RIPs are in my first ever custom built myself set so I will be using them for a while. I really like them but I do still hit moon shots with them. Sometimes that isn't such a good thing.

True, I would love to find another set of the RIP shafts to try in another set of heads. But they are pretty much gone.

Yeah, I kinda want a backup set of shafts in case I break any. I would hope these are durable but with my track record of broken shafts I am not so sure. The tips are so thick though, gotto hope they last a long time.

Wow, errr...I really can't remember. I do know that I preferred the Accra 110i and Steelfiber i95 over both of these. My top 4 graphite shafts are (in no particular order) Quadra 100i/Crazy CB-i02/Fire Express DGL120/Roddio i-10. All JDM though unfortunately. I'd love to try the Tour AD 105 or 120.

I played X100 then went down to Recoil 110 Prototype F5. Then dropped weight again to Catalyst 100 6.5. I can't explain it but the Recoil 110 felt lighter than the Catalyst 100. Might be the stiffness or balance of the weight. Great stability, smooth feel, perfect.

I play MMT's and really want to try the Catalyst 100 at some point.  Catalyst don't seem to be an upgrade offering for many OEM's.  Almost would need to go the component route like Maltby it seems or maybe I'm wrong.  Does anyone know if it is correct that there limited OEMs that offer Catalyst graphite upgrade?
