Diamana ZF Photos and Info

Did I see this in Justin Thomas' driver last week? The Diamana BF has a very noticeable change from silver to blue and this shaft definitely does not while clearly still being a Diamana:

I can't get over how incredibly cool this shaft looks. It feels phenomenal but the looks almost make me feel like I hit it better than I probably do. For the first time I actually want to hit my fairway wood instead of driver.

I was able to work it either way nicely and flight it as well as I ever have for a fairway shaft. I may FINALLY be able to hit a 3W off a tee for once!

Very happy to hear that!

Yes - fairway wood and it's awesome. I can hit bullets with it or I can get it up in the air and land soft. I've never been a good fairway wood player and this shaft may have single handedly changed that.

I put a 60S tipped an inch in my Epic Flash SZ 3D 10.5 3 weeks and 12 rounds ago. Comparing it to the OEM 65 Tensei Blue I've noticed a few things. 1. Accuracy has improved from 11.7 to 12.8 fairways per round. 2. Carry distance has improved by 7+ yards while overall distance gain is almost negligible. 3. Launch is 1.5* higher while overall height is 4 yards less. 4. Spin is increased 200 RPM. OAL is 44.5" compared to the stock 45.5".

I gamed the Tensei for about a month and 17 rounds before making the switch and honestly had no qualms with gaming it. I just happened to come across a ZF for almost nothing and decided to give it a try. I'm gonna keep it just for the increase in accuracy alone.

My favorite driver of all time was the FT-9TA with a Kai'li and this new combo gives me the same smooth feel with even better performance.

The answer to better golf is work your butt off and learn how to hit it better, farther, and make more putts.

I have this shaft (ZF 60TX) in a G410 Plus right now and while it is good, it might be a bit much for me, too many knucklers.

Couple things I have noticed:

1. Beautiful looking, seriously sweet in bright light.

2. Takes off mid-low and spins low.

3. Feel is amazing, having a stiffer handle allows me to time it better than my old PW.

Might screw around with it some more but my Accra is working better, so if anyone is interested, message me!

Not too much to report. It was cool, wet and windy in Fort Worth today. I haven't played in two months, so I didn't make a lot of good swings. The shafts feel solid, and I'm sure I'll improve as the weather clears and I get some.practice in. 60TX in the M4 driver, 70TX in the M5 Ti 3 wood and the 80TX in the M3 5 wood

A bit more mid section life than 125 but stiffer in the tip and lower spin. Maybe a similar overall trajectory with a bit lower spin rate. And did I mention how amazing it LOOKS. :)

Hmm, the 125msi is already pretty lively.

Anyone have this in a driver? If so, any feedback? I love it in my 3W and am considering picking one up for the driver just for fun. It's seriously awesome looking

I’ve been warming up to the ZF over the past couple range sessions. Compared to my Tensei Pro Blue 60 S tipped 1/2”, the ZF 50 S untipped is as smooth but tighter feeling most likely due to the firmer butt and tip. ZF to DF of the same weight, flex and untipped perform very similarly with the DF flying a bit lower. I could easily interchange the DF and ZF without issue.

I'd reckon they are quite different as the Kuro Kage "tour" profiles (XTS/XT, Dual Core TX, XD etc) have all been centered more around the "White" profile with tweaks here and there. The ZF will be much stiffer in the butt section than any of those.

For me, launch is similar, spin is lower with ZF and feel is way better in the ZF.
