Trying one on my new wedge and have a few more coming. Honestly think I may play with the size as i go up the bag. Large i the wedges, medium in irons, and small in the woods. I love to tinker so we will see how it goes. I will say chipping was much easier for me.

I certainly do my share of tinkering but wonder what you’re hoping to gain by having different sized grips throughout your bag?

I have CP2 Wrap Jumbo on my L-S-G wedges, and Mid on everything else.

On those wedges, I like the added weight, the counter weight effect, and the larger diameter frees up grip tension ... or so I've convinced myself  ?

My experience with JumboMax is that about 3 years ago I tried the Wrap XL on my 3-iron.  Hit it flush, but everything was high and right and I didn't like the lack of tackiness to the grip.

I decided it was a no-go.

I had seen that they had the UltraLights and I wasn't interested for the longest time, but GEARS did a review and showed that the JumboMax slows down the rate of closure.  Still, I was sold but between Bryson's success and seeing other reviews on YouTube I started to buy into it.  Mainly watching YouTube reviews I would see some reviewers have the same issue with the high and right shot, but the shot dispersion was smaller and the distance was the same as their shots with the regular grip.  So I started to think that if one could re-direct the shot dispersion closer to the target, they'd be making headway.

I also found that the XL was too big for me.  So I ordered the Large in the Ultralight, put it on my driver and immediately it took off great.

I then put them on all of my clubs except for the LW

They still launch higher, but the rights are not a problem.

Big thing I notice is that it makes it significantly more difficult to hit a hook.  You can hit a hook, but it's much more difficult to do so.  So if that's an occasional problem shot like it is for me, it takes that out of your game.

I'm pretty much okay with my height on the driver.  I like to hit my driver high.  With the irons it's a bit different, but still good.  I can see why Bryson used to play the C-Taper shafts (I've got the $ Taper in mine).

The good thing about the grips is that you don't feel the need to apply all that force down on the handle in transition.  A lot less having to manage that force I apply and it makes it weirdly relaxing to do so.  But I do get concerned that I'm getting 'lazy' in my swing.

It also feels like I tend to hit the ball higher on the clubface.

I don't think they are for everybody and many may hit the ball a bit better with them and still eschew them.  But for me, I really enjoy them and it's something worth trying out.

I’m a lot less technical more results focused I use to struggle  break 90.  Now I’m consistently shooting in the low 80’s with an occasional visit to the high 70’s.  Ball flight is higher and there for a bit shorter.  I had  to adjust my club selections.  But I’ve also put a 4i back in the bag.   Glad the Jumbomax grips are working for you.

I started with an ultralight XS on my driver to test.  My miss was the snap hook, and I do think these grips have helped eliminate that bad shot for me.  I then decided to go ahead and put them on my irons.  I have mixed results with this experiment.  I really like them on my short irons, they seem to give me that baby fade with a lot of spin I am after.  An added benefit on these clubs is around the green for chips/pitches, where I have found I get less handsy and flippy close in.  On the longer irons I have had less success, and sometimes get an awful slice from not fully releasing the club.  Part of my issue is also alignment and trust at this point.  Before putting these grips on my normal shot shape was a draw/hook, so now I need to set up for a big fade, like 10 yard fade, and that is a big adjustment for me on the long/mid irons.  Another benefit is since I am playing Steelfiber in my irons, the ultralight also gets my swingweight up closer to the steel weights that I prefer.  We will see where I end up, but I would highly recommend the ultralights for driver and short irons currently, so I would start there if you are considering these grips.

I’ve gone wrap xs on all my clubs up to driver and it’s been getting me great results. On driver I have the ultralight. M to m/l glove but I don’t hold the club in my palms so wanted the biggest grip I could get and still hold in fingers

irons have been straightened out...dramatically, just a nice baby fade if anything. I think the counterbalance from

the wrap has smoothed my swing well.

The XS size just isn’t working on the woods though, maybe since the swing is a bit wider unsure. The fade effect is much larger (read slice but this could be a swing flaw) and I’ve lost some significant yardage to a midsize or jumbo grip. Will keep trying it, but I’ve I bought the tour SO, and plan to build it up with some tape and see how that works
