Mayakoba Golf Classic Nov 2019

Anyone going to the Mayakoba Golf Classic. I will be there from 11/9/19 thru 11/15/19. My wife and I have always stayed at the Fairmont Mayakoba, so I have only played El Camaleón. Want to bring my clubs on the trip, but have never played other courses in the area. Any suggestions or anyone else going and want to get a round or two in at a near by course?

Grand coral golf course is right next to Mayakoba and its great.

I've played the course in Playacar (now the Hard Rock Golf Club) many times. I find it to be one of the best tracks out there. It isn't easy though and you better play from tees that are correct for you. It's only 10-15 minutes away from El Camaleon.

i was out in cancun last summer and played mayakoba, playa paraiso, grand coral and the hard rock.

 

mayakoba was the best condition of the 4

 

but i think enjoyed grand coral and playa paraiso more. probably because they were more wide open.

 

hard rock sucked, it was the worst condition of the 4 and so glad i only paid like $50 for 2 through golf now hot deal. their all inclusive food/bev cart also was pretty ghetto compared to others i had experienced. it was probably the most challenging of the 4 though. course was pretty narrow in many of them lined with homes from what i remember.
