Every grip in my bag is round, it only makes sense to have a round putter grip...

every grip in my bag is golf pride except my Putter, It only makes sense to have 100% GP.

Tested a lot of grips and Tour velvet 360(woods- adjustable setting reasons)/ tour velvet align (irons )/ tour velvet plus 4 (wedges) are my favorite and I’ve tried just about all the grips.

I got fit for a putter and they recommend the SS GT PISTOL 1.0.. it’s a good grip performance wise, but the colors aren’t my style. These GP grips are so clean looking.

Red Star!

The larger grips of today are terrible for my stroke. I have been dreaming about a re-release of the Pro Only for years. The couple I have found in the back of grips bins and off the bay are usually dried up.

Making the switch back from the armlock putting style. The Blue Star seems to keep the OD thickness throughout most of the grip, which I like. Having large hands, this will help the grip not to feel too small in my right hand.

* In a post below, give us your city and state.

* North Haven, Connecticut

* Tell us which grip you want to test: Red Star (72cc), Blue Star (81cc), or Green Star (88cc).

* Green Star (88cc)

* Tell us why you want to your selected grip.

* first, I truly enjoy the golf pride products and have played exclusively midside Golf Pride Iron grips since I got my Callaway x-Forged irons in 2009. That said, I’m never used a GolfPride putter grip. I went to the large Superstroke grips quite early and never went away. The prospect of working with a larger (88cc) Golf Pride putter grip is quite interesting to me.

The size is close to the TourSnsr and the shape is ideal for the way I hold the putter.

I used a PRO grip for 20+ yrs because the shape and feel were PERFECT for my hands. However when the lighter weight grips came out I switched because they made the putter head feel heavier. Hopefully the new grip will be the best of both worlds for me.

I'd like to pair this grip with a BeCU Ping Anser 5 to regain the feel of the putter head. A lot of larger grips take that away and this grip design looks just like what I'm looking for.

Would love to compare to my 2 SNSR’s as I believe they are the best grip but do not like the appearance.

      Please put any questions or comments here.

      This week, the PGA Tour is at TPC San Antonio on the Oaks Course for the Valero Texas Open. GolfWRX was on-site Tuesday to catch a glimpse into the bags of some of the world’s top golfers.

      The field of 144 is getting ready to battle starting Thursday for the $7.7 million purse, with $1.386 million going to the winner. The tournament is also the last event where players can qualify for The Masters, just like Canadian Corey Conners did last year.
