How many rounds and how many different courses have you played this year?

Recommended Posts

I thought it would be fun to hear from the crew here on this one.

If I were to make a wild guess, I would say my stats are middle road in this group, but I really don't know. Since January 1, 2019, I have played:

72 rounds

On 12 different courses

Would love to hear about your play!

I've probably played about 40 rounds so far with only one round outside my home course. Probably only have 8 rounds or so left in my schedule.

I'm at about 65 rounds and if my count is correct 12 courses so far.

6 of those 12 were in Ireland (Cork, Old Head, Tralee, Dingle, Ballybunion, Lahinch). I'll be adding two more as I'm off to Cabot Links on Friday. :-)

Roughly 85-90 rounds at my home course.

I think 3-1/2 rounds at the course near the place we stay at the beach.

2 rounds during my semi-annual visit to the club (out of town) where I used to be a member.

2 rounds on an out of town trip to meet a friend and play golf.

Either 2 or 3 rounds at the local muni, on days my home course was closed.

In round numbers, about 100 rounds at 5 courses. Pretty typical for me nowadays.

I'm ~12 rounds behind last year's pace. 70 rounds so far this year on 61 different courses. 37 were first time visits, including The Old Course at St Andrews. I should be able to reach the century mark for the 6th year in a row though.

Since I live in a small town in Iowa and the majority of the courses around my area are 9 hole courses, my "rounds" are 9 hole rounds.

Currently this season (May thru Sept) I have played 150 rounds on 26 different courses. Four different states; IA, MN, NE & IL. I was supposed to get to play up in Sioux Falls, SD last weekend on the course that is hosting the Champions Tour event this week but due to storms/flooding we weren't able to play.

Next week I leave on a road trip for a wedding and will (hopefully) be playing in Illinois, Maryland and Pennsylvania.

I would love to have Rustic be the majority of my rounds. What a great golf course.

About 20 rounds, 15 courses. Pine Canyon being the best of the bunch by a pretty good margin.
