I'm your guy - I owned the F9 for about 5 months and I've owned the 410 LST for the last month. The F9 is marginally further for my swing (110 mph-ish) with a quick transition, but less accurate by a long shot. I've given up maybe 5 yards with my dispersion tightened by 25% or more - maybe even 50%. Ping really outdid themselves with the G410 but that's my opinion.

I had a Cobra F9 (9’ Hzrdus Smoke 6.0) since launch and had been really happy with it, it was longer than anything I’d had previously and reasonably accurate. I tried a G410+ and didn’t like it (went too high) but decided to try a G410 LST instead.....

I went for 9’ in the Tour 65 Shaft and it is perfection!!....amazingly it’s longer than the F9 on most shots (better carry - the F9 may have the edge on dry hard fairways) And it is stupid easy to hit straight!, the Cobra is a great driver....for me the Ping is just better!!!

Sold the Cobra this week too (I rarely sell my backup clubs)

> The 9 degree f9 couldn't ever be described as toe in and closed?? The lst must be very open.

For me it did.

Lst is perfect

Owned both. The F9 is a good looking driver , great feeling driver etc. but. The 410 LST is just the perfect combo of spin killler , and forgiveness.

My speed etc is same category as you , and I’ve always needed spin reduction on anything but perfect strikes. This driver gives me that and gives up nothing in forgivenes. Bar none the longest , most controllable driver I’ve ever hit or heard of.

Ping G410 LST all day simply because it offers you more directional adjustability. Cobra is behind in adjustability and it's not doing them any favors.

Have F9 and interested in trying the 410 LST. I hit F9 and TS3 against 410 plus and noticed the Ping had high spin, lower ball speed, and was not much more forgiving. Wasn’t blown away. The LST could change that though. My issue is that the F9 is long but I get the best results with the weight in the back. Problem is it the spins a bit too much in that setting. I’d like to grab a 6g front weight to try up front as I’m playing it slightly shorter than stock. The F9 is a great driver. Might go TS3 though..

I owned the F9 for the better part of this season. I also owned the 410 Plus along side. I found the Plus to be lower launching and lower spin over the F9 when fit correctly. I did try the LST on a monitor and on course and it didn't offer me enough advantages to change over the regular Plus, especially since I had already invested in the Plus. After going back and forth with both drivers over multiple rounds and months, I eventually settled in with the Ping. It probably wasn't quite as long as the F9 on best strikes but overall it was so much more forgiving and consistently longer, the 410 just won out.

> @balls_deep How did you find the TS3 when you hit it? I hit it earlier in the year and was getting good numbers, just looked a little boring to me. Its more of a three horse race, G410 LST, F9 and TS3

TS3 is less forgiving than Ping I think probably close to F9. The ball speed is quite solid on the TS3 and I enjoyed the sound. It's like most things Titliest does - not flashy at all just classy and performs. I'm hitting some bombs with the F9 right now so I'm going to keep it. I got it for $180 as new from a guy who worked in a golf shop can't justify paying tons for anything else that is going to be maybe marginally better at best (but still probably not as long).

FWIW I have bag OCD and if you look at my sig the F9 is the only non-Titleist club. That tells you something right there.

> Can anyone who's tested these two drivers back to back share their experience? My swing speed is 114mph average and have narrowed search down to these two. Which is longer? More forgiving? Better feel? I know TXG did a head to head in their driver bracket but looking for more opinions.

What are you looking for out a driver? What are you currently gaming?

I have a similar swing speed and have always fought spin... I went from an Adams Fast 12LS to a Cobra LTD Pro, and I'm crushing it... I'm working on making the new Hogan driver work for me, but that is being detailed in another thread.

One of the main things I've discovered is how important good shaft selection is... I swapped shafts on the Cobra and it's become a monster.

I have always had success with Cobra heads. They seem to just work for me... I actually was crushing the 410 plus at a demo day with good numbers and the right shaft, but he didn't have the LST... I demoed the LST from Golf Galaxy, but didn't get a good shaft in it and it let me down.

So what shaft did you end up with in the F9
