Shaft in Kevin Na's Toulon putter?

I was watching the Shriners yesterday and noticed that Na has a white shaft in his putter. The WITB for him this morning does not mention the shaft. Anyone know what the story is with that shaft?

Don't really know the story behind the reason he is using it, but It's a graphite LA Golf TP putter shaft.

I mean for the club your use the most in a round it should probably be your best performing. Na did have one of the best rounds of putting based on total distance for putts sunk.

 

Does that mean we all should have one of these shafts in? Probably not but for tour guys I think it's a different story, especially when margins are so narrow for winning 1mil+ and nothing.

Toulon Madison w/H8 neck, top line alignment. Has diamond face milling but also has a light skim milling on top as well. Not sure on weight used. Obviously has the LAGP shaft in it.

Nobody balks at spending $350+ on driver and fairway shafts, but spending equal or less money on the only club you use on every single hole seems crazy?

I’ll never understand people being upset at the cost of putter that they use 30 times a round compared to the $500 driver they use maybe 12 times a round. Seems backwards

I could not agree more! $500+ for drivers now that you may only use 10-13 times and know one blinks. You talk about spending $300-$500 dollars on a putter that you use on every hole, know matter what, and has a better chance of lowering your scores.....and people can’t wrap there head around it. 🤷‍♂️

I have never spent $500 on a driver or a putter. I may consider it for a putter but I would not expect it to decrease my scores by an appreciable amount. It would be for a custom made piece of useable art. As others have said for professionals every stroke counts so it makes sense. As for driver, not going to happen. I will buy used and set it up to my specs.

I have an LAGP 135 shaft on a BB8W with a plumbers neck. Got a decent deal for it but really wanted to try it out. All I can say that it's really soft at impact and feels effortless. Definitely recommend it. 

 

As far as performance goes...can't say it improved my putting. Looks sleek tho.

Just started using the white 135 in a SIK DW 2.0 and it definitely looks sweet haha. As for performance, the added stability helps with confidence, and the feel is great. Worth trying out for sure if you can.

My thoughts are that the driver shaft I pay 400. for swings at 108mph.... my putter is 1mph. Don't really need to worry about shaft lag in my putter.

I have the white LAGP shaft in my Studio Select Newport 2 GSS insert. It looks awesome, but honestly the shaft is not worth the money. The theory is that the multi-material shaft offers maximum stability while maintaining soft feel. You can feel a difference, but it's not a $380 difference on a 5 inch stroke.

LOL. Thanks dude. 
 

This will make it worse. New iron shafts for my Srixon combo set. My current ZX7 have the white shafts but apparently LA golf changes to these black and blue ones.
