I will definitely give this a try but have recently stubbled across a new gamer in the form of a Fusion with Fubuki K which kicked my Cobra F9 out of my bag.

From what I gather you should be impressed. New face tech and material combined with a stable clubhead design with lower spin than your Fusion could force your wallet open.

It's funny as I have tried and owned most of the 2019 offerings and the Cobra F9 beat my Cally Epic Flash out of the bag. I was fitted for the Cally EF in the Spring, F9 fitted in mid Summer and now the older unfitted Fusion beat the F9 out my bag. I'll be happy if the Fusion stays in my bag for a long time.

I also have a bb fusion. Also amazing driver. Underated. Only unseated by rogue. Play the fusion now and then just to have fun. Great backup driver incase something happends to mr rogue.

It's too bad they got rid of the logo thing they used in the sweet spot, but that driver looks perfectly cromulent. Inoffensive.

The name is still awful, but that's golf marketing for you. It's either a random grouping of letters and numbers (M6, TS3, G410, ST190) or an embarrassing "65 year old in a board room asking his grandkid what's cool these days" name (Rocketballz, HZRDUS, CNCPT, Epic).

I feel like I'm usually one of those 'sole snobs', and orange is far from my favorite color scheme for a club, but I'm not totally repulsed by this. Look at address is what would make or break for me.

I suppose a maverick is a form of a rogue, so there's that.

I cant understand the progression of the name (a "Maverick" being someone/thing that has gone "Rogue"), but i think they missed it on the name. Will the next release be the "Callaway Rascal" or "Callaway Scoundrel"?

My guess would be that the idea behind the name is more likely that the driver sets itself apart from the pack and perhaps is a trailblazer type, but I have not seen an explanation yet as to how it is doing this.

It’s easy. Rogue One movie came out and Callaway released the “Rogue” driver. Top Gun 2 movie on the horizon equals “Mavrik”....

Rogue and Mavrik sound significantly better than "Epic" and "Epic Flash". The Epic names are squeamish. The driver name that's doing Jagerbombs, wearing Affliction and Ed Hardy.
