Just watched the podcast on YouTube. I’m excited to try the Mavrik SZ more now that they used what they learned from the EF Triple Diamond and employed their findings in the Mavrik SZ.

Just hit the SZ very briefly. The shape is pretty cool. It reminds me of a lot of JDM drivers that are kind of like little cannon balls on a stick = round and deep. It seemed like the face had some on-set. Didn't really get any numbers but really liked the looks.

Really wish the retail heads had the same face as the one posted above. I really don’t like the goofy graphics that Callaway puts on the faces of their retail heads

Everyone has their own opinions but I for one stopped supporting Callaway last year. Old TM business model with Tour only heads that are nothing like retail. Say what you want that other companies do it to but plenty of options where they don’t. Not to mention the flood of models to hit the market is insane.

Although I do acknowledge your point! It is frustrating as a consumer. That being said 95% of golfers aren't like us WRXers. They have no clue the Triple Diamond or "tour head" even exists.

Just an FYI that those 130 shafts are not the real deal if it isn’t “TX”. There isn’t an “X” spec in the silver, white or black

And before the pitchforks come out I am actually considering this shaft for my epic tour issue that is on the way. I read tollbros review that the tx might be a little much for most of us so a plain old x might just work

I am pretty sure it is a real deal shaft. The TX is a version within the line.

I get it and they can purchase Callaway. But for those that are aware of it you either support it or you don’t. My golf buying habits won’t make a dent in Callaway so it’s irrelevant but I just get rubbed the wrong way by what they’re doing
