The mavrik pro irons might have less offset than the Apex pros. Very compact they look good. The pro and the regular driver looked really good shape wise they are both around 440cc the draw version is 460cc. There’s not much orange on the bottom, there might be a thin orange line on the top around the outside edge but I couldn’t really see it.

Fair enough. 5-10cc doesn’t seem to be noticeable in hand but 20cc seems like quite a lot of size to give up. Especially so if forgiveness is what these drivers will be about since they lose much of the Epic Flash weight adjustments.

I have pics of a custom made Mavrik. It’s blue with red highlights. Stock version is orange.

I think it depends on how the head is shaped. I can envision a driver that looks 460cc from the top and has enough volume removed on the sole (for aerodynamics?) to drop 15-20cc without much notice.

And generally one gains advantages in discretionary weight placement when the structures for sliders/screw in pads are removed.

I will welcome a smaller cc head, easier on the eyes, and little if any loss to performance.

The new shape is beautiful. Forget the color people somehow care way too much about. The shape of the new Sub Zero will make a lot of WRXers happy! I’m pumped about the new pro hybrid as well.
